Morning all

Woke up with a sore throat again today. Probably due to allergies. Thinking perhaps some hot tea might help.

Hope you feel better murray.

Gotta get my butt off the couch and get out in the world and do some things. Have a research paper to work on and I may take my inner artist out for a photography excursion later.

Syl y'all.

Good morning, everyone!

I'm sooooo exhausted today. I am not the young spring chicken that I used to be, so these nights of getting home at 5 AM and then having to get up and start moving early are not agreeing with me AT ALL.

((( YAWN )))

Another crazy day ahead....one of the other women in my paranormal group brought a bunch of costumes, accessories, etc. - so I don't have to run out and buy a costume for tonight's party. YEAH!!

But, I am fearful of not getting enough rest and getting run down.....especially since I HAVE to get my homework done by tomorrow, and be alert for work on Monday, then my class Monday night....

Weird thing happened last night. My paranormal group leader has "gifts", and she was able to hold my hand and "read" me last night....She said, ""life stopped here, wall after wall, nobody can get through. You won't allow it. Sadness. Stuck. Forever. A block of time you refuse to address. You won't face it. So, it doesn't exist, yet you're stuck there. And you won't let anyone in. There's something that nobody knows. No one. You refuse to face it. You feel unsafe. Untrusting. People see you differently than how you see yourself, because you are stuck in a place where you have owned the sins of others and it has affected your beliefs."

Woah.

I sleeping till the butt-crack of noon!

Having a bit of brunch (cheese grits) before going to run some errands. Some friends have already called about coming over.

The deep cleaning of our house is scheduled for October 24th. I can't wait to have a clean home again!!!! And they're doing it for $399. Reputable company that has great ratings on google, yelp, yp.com, etc. I have yet to find a negative rating.

Have a great day everyone!

I wasn't actually asking. I think I was just thinking out loud. Like "Oh, I don't remember seeing them recently type of thing. Don't mind me. I just spent an afternoon running errands. I am beat tired.

Ok.. So, I know that there are a couple of people here on the couch who work out.. I need tips on how to workout, go to work, come home take care of the house work, make dinner. Basically, how do you find time to keep working out on a daily basis along with every other thing to be done?

I have put on too much weight since starting work and it starting to freak me out. Not only was it helping me lose weight, I had more energy, felt better about myself, slept better, and had less anxiety.. So, couchers who workout... How do you do it?

Hankster - I made the coleslaw and now that I have butter again will make the cake - all for me! Except it's beet cake so only small quantities at a time for me.

Healed - I'd like to hear how people balance as well. I have the same problem - how to fit it in with everything else that needs to be done.

For me, with exercise, how it's supposed to happen is I come home and make dinner and then eat, and then exercise. My husband is *supposed* to clean up after dinner since I do all the grocery shopping and cooking. The reality is, I come home and clean the kitchen from the night before, make dinner, we all eat, and then I exercise. The dishes sit until the next evening when I come home from work and clean the ****ing kitchen before I can cook. This method requires a certain level of tolerance for mess in the kitchen overnight. I know it wouldn't work for Wikid, for instance.

I pretty much gave up watching TV in order to be able to work out every night, work full time, & go to college. I don't miss it. I do Tivo some shows and watch them on the weekend. Working out makes me feel so so SO SO SO SO SO SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. I think the trick for me was to do it often enough that it became habit. It's no longer optional for me.
Thanks for this!

MKAC-sorry about the depression-it sucks.

Granite-glad you are having fun.

OMG- these people that live across the street from me do nothing but scream at their kids all day at the top of their lungs. I'm so over it.

I think I got this cold that's going around. Ugh. Mind over matter. I am not getting sick. I am not getting sick. I am not getting sick.

I have this urge to put up Christmas lights in my living room. They always make me feel warm. It's freaking cold here!
