If the real old spice guy was our repair man, I would figure out how to break the machine every day.

Granite, has your t given you any tools to cope with this?

When I was having a really hard time sleeping/bad nights after a really bad situation at work, my pastor told me about a meditative prayer to help calm my thoughts. I won't post it here in case it's triggering to someone, but the basic idea was a three syllable phrase as your breathe in and a 5 syllable phrase as you breathe out. You just keep repeating it over and over and over until your mind calms. It's difficult at first, but gets easier. It got me through many rough nights.

I had to sleep with the lights on when I was reading the other stuff by The Silence of the Lambs guy, and that was over 20 years ago.

I think someone has been scaring my black cat. He's sitting on my lap with his face buried in my armpit. He's a house cat and all of the humans are nice to him, so I blame the kitten.

Granite - Sorry about your bad night. I hope tonight is better. I'm going to have to try the Asian pear tea. Right now I am steeping cocoa caramel sea salt. I don't usually go for chocolate flavors, but my Teavana guy told me it is his new favorite.

Hi couchkateers. I haven't been around much. The six month anniversary last week of my mother's death hit me like a ton of bricks. Grief is hard. Depression is hard. Therapy is hard. I don't know how much more I can handle.

There are two that I really like at my store. One good thing about my not as great schedule at work lately, is that I can go to Teavana in the morning and get a cup of tea to start my day.
