That makes a ton of sense to me. A lot of issues that get discussed with t stem from that.

I think to some degree it can be. Perhaps that goes hand in hand with that senerio that a daughter looks for men like her father and a son looks for women like their mother.. or whatever your sexual preference is.

Huh. I don't see why the opposite sex parent is more relevant for that than the same sex parent... everybody doesn't have two parents of opposite sexes, for starters.

So how your father treats you is how you expect to be treated? Or how your father GETS treated by your mother is how you expect to be treated?

Back from Dr...barely charged ipod managed to last me the whole time. Whew. Very nerve wracking appt though... My BP was sky high due to the anxiety 154/80. Almost had a panic attack when they brought up wanting a pap smear... I'm 21...have never had one before and have a bad history with CSA which I haven't mentioned to my Dr out of fear.. She said 6 weeks. I said hell no. 6 MONTHS might be doable. but 6 weeks is way too short notice.

Sigh. At least ultrasound came back normal. No cysts etc. Luckily my T called me RIGHT as I got out of the car and was about to head in to the Dr office. She has immensely good timing sometimes. She helped calm me down a little, repeated what I needed to tell her, and wished me luck. Time to relax..
