Wiki, your granddaughter and the kitten are both beyond cute. So adorable.

People of Walmart are scary.

I had a long day today. Lots of hard work with the critters. Very satisfying.

Whereupon he told me that the abuse I suffered was "if not the worst, certainly the top 3 worst" cases of abuse he had ever dealt with.

Oh, and for the first time, he commented on my dissociation in session. We discussed quite a while ago that he didn't really notice when it happened and he needed some kind of cue from me. Which I was never able to give him. So either he has gotten a lot better at reading me, or it was just much more obvious today.

Thank you so much for asking!
wow MKAC i am not so sure i would feel safe if my T ever told me it was one of the worse cases of abuse etc....

i hate it when my T uses the words trauma and sbuse. i accually have a physical reaction. my stomach turns, it feels like she stabbed me with her words.i hate it. i have never ever used those words and neither has any T i have had in the past. i feel for ya do you think you can talk to him about not using those words. there are others he can use.

FANTASY:

I have a visual image I'd like to share with you.

You keep your abuse in a big chest in the living room. You've draped a nice table cloth over it and you try to pretend it isn't there. And on the whole you succeed.

And when T points it out, you say, "I know, isn't it awful? But I can't get it through the door and it would mean remodelling the whole house and it's so much easier to leave it there."

Okay I mentioned it to T cuz I told Apt I would, sort of a dare ya situation. It was about mentioning my birthday, which t had said last week he WANTED to buy me a present, which totally embarrassed me. But over the weekend it started to feel like when I was in the hospital last September and had called T a few times. Talking about it later, he said he WANTED to drive me home from the hospital. So this week, I told him, I heard both comments the same way. He didn't have to DO these things. Just his saying them felt comforting, because my mother just always made everything about her and let me know what an impediment to her happiness I was. So today I told him I felt awkward about even mentioning my birthday but I kinda had to. So he goes, I'm still buying you a present and I'm like shut up!

So today I went to see the movie Silver Linings Playbook and I rather liked it. I thought it portrayed OCD very well. De Niro was great. Bradley Cooper was pretty intense. The Indian T was amazing.

You're as young as you feel, and sometimes that's the problem. Wouldn't watch SOTU for any amount of money. OK, I would, but no amount anybody is willing to pay.

Hi Suzie...

(((MKAC))) that's it, just hugs. I can barely tolerate the t-word, but I am getting better at it.

Apt, I know you are asleep, but here you go:
Walmart is a low price chain store around the country that uses out of country slave labor to get cheap goods and sell them to Americans who need to save a buck. It's where the masses shop because of their "low, low, low falling prices". They sell groceries, and household goods and clothing and etc all under one roof, and there is always a freak there. Walmart Feet refer to mama's walking their barefooted babies around the store, and their little feet get dirty. (because it often draws a very low class of people). Not all Walmart shoppers are freaky or impoverished or low class, but for some reason every Walmart has the aforementioned in it. It has become sport to use you cell phone to take pics of the weirdest looking people you find at Walmart and post them on line.

I know...cruel and disturbing, sad but true.

Karebear...you get 2.587 million wiki points for the bean soup, but we'll have to detract 124.102357 thousand for putting pork in it.
If you do the math I'll give you pi more points.

CE: Only Americans can make fun of the SOTU.

CL gets 124.102357 thousand points plus the added 3.14159265359 since the math is now a non-issue.

Ugh..all that giving gave me a headache.

wiki out

I never watch politicians. I vote for who I see as the lesser of the evil choices. I don't believe any of them when they talk.
