Healed, don't move south. The pollen is awful this year. If I could tolerate cold weather, I would have moved North long ago.

To each his own. Art is long, life is short and success is very far off. Conrad maybe?

The pollen was so thick you could see it wafting in the breeze not that there was much if any zephyr present. Standing in the sun at the graveside in my suit sweating like a jenny the pollen stuck to all exposed areas of the epidermis which for me means the face and cranium where the achaetous thatch used to reside.

(Hey SD, that last sentence is my feeble attempt at a Faulkner impersonation).
Hey thats my middle name you're using in vain there!

A little basketball humor.

As promised to his team for winning the national championship, Rick Pitino got his tattoo yesterday. He decided to honor the game by getting a portrait of John Wooden on his left buttock and Dean Smith on his right. When he got home, he excitedly showed his wife. After a moment of awkward silence, he asked her what she thought. She paused, and then said, "Well, I recognize the guy in the middle as Coach K, but who are the other two guys?"

TW mention of self harm (just in case)

Just got back from seeing my girls and ex has told me my eldest is having sui thoughts and cutting. She reqested I take her to the adolescent psych service appt. She also worried she will be "weird" like us. It's times like this I feel I've failed as a parent

If she's able to tell you that's having suicidal thoughts and cutting, you're not doing as badly as you think. I never told my parents. And they were pretty decent parents.

Sometimes reading responses to threads on this site makes me even more hostile towards therapists than I already am.

Morning couch. I miss so much when I go to relax before bed. Oh well..playing catch up isn't that bad.

TGIF! Though I have to be up early tomorrow for a weekend inservice to complete another class to add my reading endorsement to my teaching certificate. But it's only a few Saturdays (every other week) until school is out, then it is weekdays the week after school is out. So, I still have my weekends.

Well...just checking in before heading to pack my lunch, take my med, and head to work.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Trying to organize everything I have to get done in the next two months between moving offices, my son's graduation, the competition coming up and actual work I need to get done. Then there is the fact my house and garage are a mess and totally unorganized with stuff strewn everywhere and a tree in our yard died and needs to be cut down. Ugh. Feeling overwhelmed. Just need to get myself organized and try to make a schedule for what happens when. Oh, and the horses torn down a section of fence that needs to be put back up.

MKAC - if the garage and house are not vital to moving, graduation or competition, could you let those go awhile longer?
