Morning couch.

Well, I woke up at 6am (early again). Why do I keep doing this? I want my normal sleep pattern back.

I guess I will just lollygag around the apartment until it is time to get dressed to leave for the senior care place and then my interview. Here's hoping the interview goes well and I get hired.

I also have some serious thinking to do about what T and I talked about on the phone yesterday. Decisions, decisions. I hate making decisions. They are so hard to make.

Today is the day! I go see xT at 1:30pm east coast time. Pocket riders wanted. I have a lot of regrets in this life and I just didn't want the way I left things with xT to be one of them. Not for him...he's a big boy and I'm just another client...but for me.

She didn't say on the phone. She was more focused on the "seeing someone else" stuff. I'm bad at talking on the phone (I hate it), so that was a slight hinderance. T said we'll talk about everything in the emails next session and that she would go through them with a fine tooth comb before then, so she didn't miss anything. I will have to ask on Tuesday.

I might try to see if it's an option, but I don't believe she would take me on as a client considering the circumstances. She works for him and her office is right next to his. It may complicate things in her situation and I'd imagine it would be difficult for me to run into him if things end badly - or I wouldn't feel safe knowing that one wall in her office is shared with his.

When I asked to come in to see her, she suggested a phone call instead to avoid awkwardness. Maybe that was for my sake. Also, she has been sending me links to other places that she feels would be helpful, giving me the sense that maybe my issues are not her specialty. But I could be off base. I won't know unless I ask.

If things do end badly, I will ask her if she can be my interim T for a while during my process of looking for a different solution...and who knows? If that seems to work, then it could be something we could continue.

Thanks, hankster. This is helpful. I was considering something along those lines as well....reminding him up front about how I feel about him and our relationship, the good stuff. But I thought that considering he's a T, he would see through that strategy

It's worth a shot though. I need him to see that I am not coming from a place of trying to harm. And I'm really not. It seems that no matter how I talk to him, he accuses me of being a certain way - and I end up confused because I can't imagine that I was that way - and I feel stuck in confusion. Before I even mentioned that to xgrpcoT, she said that she had that experience with him many times and has heard of many others feeling the same way. Like, he's triggered and absolutely cannot see past his own defenses..and questioning him at that point ends up escalating the issue to the brink of insanity. Then later, after he's calmed down, he'll address it totally calmly as if nothing happened - no acknowledgment of his crazed reaction.

So...I did this fundraising site for my nephew and his wife that just had a baby (1lb 6oz), 3 months premature. Just trying to help them meet the expenses of living in Ronald McDonald house so they can stay near the baby. Anyhow...it went viral, and we raised over $1500 in 6 hours. Insane. It proves what I always say...there are way more good and kind people in the world then mean.

oh...guess what? I worked at the clinic yesterday, and we have a PUFFIN! He is so damn amazing! He got stranded in the waters off Nantucket sound, our ocean warmed up phenomenally early this year.

yea...they have those sad eyes. It's normal. You can't see his beak in the pic, but it is an amazing mosaic of color. I had to water test him in the tub and I was thinking "wow, good job God." lol. I love that place sooo much. I had the domestic violence shelter call and ask where I've been, and I was like "ummm, well, uh....there's another gig in town" lol.
