Well, the lady at the senior place got home early, so I was let off at 2pm. She said to clock on my time card 2:30pm. So she is being nice giving me th extra half hour. But that still means 1.5 hours less today that I was expecting. *sigh* That means a little less money as well. Not what I need. I need to get all the hours I can to survive the rest of the summer.

Got ny hair cut yesteray. It was way too long for me. It had been 3 and 1/2 to 4 months since my last haircut, so I needed one badly. Bake to my short hair now.

I guess since I am home early, I could get a head start on tomorrow's cleaning. I think I may.

I'll check in later this afternoon/evening. I hope everyone is having a good day so far.

Feeling emotionally yucky today. Anxious, depressed, agitated....confused about T, who is still on vacation but will be returning next week....*sigh*

My daughter and I went back to the library. It's the last day of the book sale, and we were able to fill a grocery store bag of books for $5. We ended up getting 20 books (some hardcover) for $5! Woot woot!

I have no interest in reading any of them though. *sigh*

Hi guys...kayaking in tandem is...well, quite an experience...rofl. H is much more conservative than I on the water. I see a wake, and I want to run right into it, and hopefully flip. He sees a wake and he's like...HOLD ON, HOLD ON...STABILIZE! WTF? That ain't no freaking fun! Then he keeps telling me "you have to paddle in sync with me"...well, I am in the front, and he's in the back. I cannot see him, so I think it would work better if he either syncs up with me or he sits up front. The stronger person is supposed to sit in back though, and God forbid someone see him up front. lol.

We did ultimately have fun, and laughed a lot. Tomorrow we will take one of the dogs out. We'll get used to it. It is kind of nice being able to talk while paddling.

CE... I'm sorry you are going through that again... it does tend to come and go doesn't it (or at least that is how I've experienced it)...

I watched the movie Secretary... I liked it...

Every year she nests in a different planter. I mean you couldnt get her to sit in a bunch of flowers like that if you tried!! I deleted the picture, its not mine, so I didnt want to keep it up.

Evening couch.

Well, I just bought a bottle (1.75 L) of 100% grapefruit juice yesterday afternoon and it is already gone. I bought it to "try it" and see if I liked it. I guess I did if I went through the bottle in a day.

I also bought a bottle of 100% orange juice as this brand (Simply "name of fruit") of juice was on sale.

They also have SimplyApple, but I am not big on apple juice, I prefer citrus. They have SimplyLemonade and SimplyLimeade too, but those are not 100% juice and have added sugar (though they are still "all natural", i.e. - real sugar is used to sweeten it not corn syrup), so I decided against them, as I have been cutting back on my sugar since December. I will drink drinks that are artificially sweetened (i.e. aspartame) when I'm not drinking juice...but that doesn't have the (bad) sugar carbs. I have stopped caffeine cold turkey at the end of December. I just decided it wasn't good for me anymore. Though the occassional iced tea is starting to sneak back in when I am out to eat with someone. But that's not like the caffeine I was getting when I was drinking 6+ cans of coke a day.

Well. I will pop back in before I go to bed.

I hope everyone is having a good night.

Lola, I hope you feel more cheerful soon.

Hey squirrel I found they have fake sugar bread and butter pickles. I dont usually like dills, and I have been avoiding these because of the sugar content. But hey now I have lived long enough that they have mutated into sugar free
Thanks for this!

I've had a pretty good day ... I didn't do all the things I wanted but I did...

get my hair cut..
go to a new grocery store that just opened to use the 10$ off $20 purchase coupon...
do 2 loads of laundry that I will need to take to laundromat to dry later...
and I finished watching the movie Secretary...it was good...

I really need to get these items listed on CraigsList and ebay so that I can get them sold.

Had good couple of days with my D. This morning woke in a terrible depressed mood and had to take her back early. I was supposed to stay while my ex went to a meeting but my BIL and his wife are staying and I felt like a 5th wheeel and a bit of a burden as I'm not usual chatty self and everyone hates me anyway so i didn't stay and ruin the mood for everybody else.

Does it really matter what my ex thinks about me? I'm trying to convince myself it doesn't but he's been my sounding board for over 20 years, it's hard not to.
