I didn't see it either Ready. And as for the dinner, I'm speakless.

Do you ever wish you could live in Couchworld, instead of out in the real world?

One thing the last couple of weeks have made abundantly clear to me: coming off Zoloft completely was not the right thing to do. I was so hoping I wouldn't have to stay on it, but given how I've been lately, I think it's going to be a long time before I can try again. It's a bad sign when you stand in front of the medicine cabinet and fantasize about not waking up.

I'm okay. Just a little ideation. Which I will report to T, I promise.

(((CL))) Sometimes we need the medication. I am learning that lesson as well.

Good Morning everyone... Church day for me, which is fine I guess. I think I have straightened my mom out again, if not our Pastor and his wife are both going to mention to her that the apartment is the BEST choice for her. They have been very supportive, and have worked tirelessly to help me find her appropriate housing. He even wrote letters to various housing agencies asking for her to get urgent housing. I love them. My mother is from that generation that listens to "religious leaders", so it should hold some water. (I don't see my pastor as a leader, I just see him as a supportive friend)

H is cooking bacon right now, the maple cured kind. Smells so good. No matter how long I have been vegan, that bacon smell still lures me in. Bacon and Dairy...two things the vegan world has yet to duplicate.

H leaves today for 5 days.. I have seriously doubted my ability to parent my kids, work, and run a home already... I am so paranoid that everything is gonna go to hell this week and prove to everyone around me I am a fake!!!

Morning couch.

Just popping in before heading to K's in about an hour. I wonder what is in store for me today. Yesterday, she tried to eat the chair she was sitting in. She pulled off a piece of covering and tried to put it in her mouth. Then she tried to pull her bandage off her arm. It's like watching a little kid, but it's still "easy" work for what it pays. The extra money for the 7 hours yesterday will be a good thing, a little bit to play with.

Well, I am off to get ready for work. I hope everyone has a decent day.

Wiki good luck, hope the preacher sets mom straight, straight other new apartment.
Healed you are going to do fine, My guess is you will prove to yourself that you can do this all by yourself and hopefully it will boost your confidence.
Couchworld would be awesome, and I kinda already live here, just not full full time.
Hope everyone has a great day. Im off to brunch, back to pack and on the road to Houston...ugg I hate Houston one of the last times I was there I went to the poke... hoping for a calmer visit this time. Have a great day peeps! Have fun scrapping Granite!

Late Show with David Letterman Top Ten - CBS.com

The top 10 list for nov 12 2013 was about bacon. I thought it was hilarious.

Critter- I know it can be hard to be on medication. I'm questioning it myself right now, but choosing to believe that my drs now better than I do at the moment. Please make sure you talk to your pdoc. And, yes, CouchWorld would be awesome!

Wiki- crossing my fingers that everything goes well at church. Sounds as if your mom will listen to what they have to say and has in the past. Please let us know how it goes.

Healed- you can do this. You're much stronger than you think you are. If you need to vent or anything, the couch is here for you. Do you have anyone around there if you need them? If you have time without the kids, try and enjoy the time and do something kind for yourself. You deserve it.

Lola- I hope your trip to Houston is less exciting this time and goes quickly for you. Is that a weird thing to say? But I hope you know what I mean. LOL Aren't you seeing the grands next weekend?

I hope everyone has a nice Sunday. I have to figure out what to bring for the Cross Country banquet on Tuesday night. I'm signed up to bring dessert, so I'll need to shop for that and make them tomorrow/Tuesday afternoon. My DH will be coming home after being gone since Friday morning, so I should attempt to make it look like I've done something around the house too, rather than hiding in the bedroom all weekend. The kids have been taken care of, sometimes that's enough too. Feeling really guilty we haven't done anything fun this weekend. Oh well.

The two 'rescue' ducks were killed last night. It is apparently a Great Horned Owl and not a weasel, because this fence is TIGHT. The only duck left is the last pet duck. She is tame enough that I can catch her to put in her house every night. I am worried I won't get home in time in the evenings though, so we may put her in a dog run (it's covered) we used when I was a teenager for my pet Mallard. Now that my family is talking to me again, my little sis offered the dog run to me. It's been weird having family and neighbors again.

Pretty weepy and distressed. I have been really down anyway.

I want to play Lola's game...

1. I hold a brown belt in karate (but haven't kept up with it in years).
2. I have a paralyzing phobia of taxidermy.
3. My favorite color is red, but I also like blue and green.
4. I have tried to pierce my earlobes 3 times, and each time, they simply would not heal (I left the piercing hoops in for over a year in one case). So instead I have three others: one tragus (left), one rook (right), and one upper cartilage (left).
5. I have debated whether or not to say this, but this game has made it too tempting, so... I'm 9 weeks pregnant .

Y'all are too nice . I'm sooooper nervous because I'm still not out of the first trimester yet, and it's impossible to know whether everything's still ok in there. But I know this is one place where I will be supported (rather than peppered with inane questions like, did you drink coffee?) if anything goes wrong.
