I have had a wild night of napping on the couch. Just woke up because I was too thirsty to force myself to continue sleeping.

I had a little Inner meltdown at work today. I emailed T about it. I was proud of the disclosure for about an hour. Then I freaked out and decided I sounded like an idiot and sent an email telling him to ignore the first email. I apologized for the disruption. About half an hour after THAT, I sent another () email, explaining what was REALLY going on behind the scenes and why I am being so clingy.

The whole thing is horrifying and I am trying to put it out of my mind. FML. I need a rewind button.

Melissa, if it were me, I would go by which place was best for me mentally, financially and spiritually. Friends are cool, nephews are cooler, but peace of mind is the coolest.

I have the big 4 b'day party for the kid today. I've made a few dozen cupcakes, with sparkly pink frosting topped with Hello Kitty heads that I made from gum paste. They look quite girly, and I am quite proud.

Morning all. I am just sitting around and drinking coffee and watching a Rifleman marathon. I had chocolate icing for breakfast. It goes really well with coffee.

I'm trying to decide whether to color my hair before getting my hair cut... I dont get my hair colored at salon because its hard to justify $100 when I can do it for $9... I guess I'll do it and just tell her only to wet hair not shampoo...

Ready, I don't get my hair dyed at the salon either. Way too expensive even for my very short hair. And I know the longer it is, the more money. I go to Walgreens, buy some dye and do it myself.

Critter, I saw your post before you deleted it. I hope you two can work the stuff out. But, that's a step, actually wanting to try and work it out instead of just writing it off as the friendship being over. You can talk about it here, if you like.

Wikis cupcakes made me want cake so I had some with my coffee, but before that I had oatmeal and pomegranate seeds, so that over rides the cake doesn't it? Or not. haha.

It's going to be a little warmer today in these parts than it has been the past couple days, so outside time today is a must. Got errands to run..then I work tonight from 6 till who knows what time.

Critter...I saw it too. I am so sorry. I know first hand how difficult it is to be disappointed by a friend, let alone your bestie. It can heal, but it takes some work. It's oh so painful though.

So, I am off of my Juice Fast. I made 15 days...woot. I broke it with a Soy, Decaf, Peppermint Mocha, no whip from Starbucks. Then I proceeded to re-wrench my lower back walking off the curb into the parking lot. Damn you, Starbucks, and your tempting coffee concoctions.

I am so freaking open on this forum, there ain't much you don't know...or is there?

1) I am a true ginger...yup, fire crotch. (lol tmi)
2) When I was a kid, my bff was a fire hydrant that I had named Archie.
3) I have a habit of plucking my eyebrow hairs when I am nervous. I have to fill them in with a pencil when I do my make up.
4) I still suck my thumb sometimes.
5) I am afraid (actually petrified) of large ships dry-docked (out of the water). Don't have a clue why.

Back to the emailing T thing, I forwarded him an email thread I had with a friend (at the friend's suggestion). I told him that this thread would be more "fun" to discuss than the stuff we had been discussing -- thinking the thread was a discussion about Jane Eyre and a comparison of my childhood with hers. I totally forgot that my friend and I had discussed some really sensitive stuff about our husbands AND I had mentioned that I purchased a book that discussed CSA because there was a passage in it about something that had happened to me when I was five. So I have now emailed him that it will be 'fun' to discuss this gross thing happening to a five year old. Dissociation sucks. Sigh. I did this on Thursday and he has not responded. I am actually not super sure he got the email because I am having issues with my email sometimes. But, if he didn't get it, I don't want to bring it up. If he did get and just isn't responding, I'm feeling queasy thinking that he thinks I am a weirdo or a perv or something.

mkac, do you really think that your T, knowing you as well as he does, would ever think that of you? No, sorry, I know, it's really easy to believe that they will share our own loathing of ourselves. But hasn't he pretty consistently shown you that he does not share that? Wouldn't it be more reasonable for him to think that you meant "fun" ironically, or that you didn't refer to that particular part of the thread (which is what it was really, since you didn't remember that part)?

I like what I've heard about your T. I trust he will react in a good way and treat what you share with him the way he should.

MKAC just what mast said. you T will be ok with what you said and I think it is awesome that you sent him this information to work on . I think it is brave of you
