Do you have a family doctor who could prescribe for you? Or any kind of doc... Gynae? Could your T find someone you could afford? Or do they have clinics for those without insurance? I'm sorry if this is a stupid idea, I am not totally sure how it works in the US. It seems crazy that you can't get the meds that would help. I have anxiety too and I know how horrid it is when you are completely overwhelmed with it. Otherwise something herbal is a good idea. In the UK there is a herbal supplement called Kalms that is good, don't know what you have over there. Valerian, hops and passionflower are all good herbs for anxiety I believe. Sending lots of hugs

Granite, I hope it went OK with your T and you are happy about going back

Healed, i would definitely see if you can change to another day as your T seems to have issues with Fridays.

Wow...I laid on the couch after my last post and fell asleep and just woke up. Guess I was tired. Or getting sick again. I woke up congested, coughing, and with a sinus headache. Guess I caught a cold from one of the little darlings at school last week while my immune system was down due to the other crap I had.

May need to run out and get cold and sinus meds. They normally work when I feel like this. I hate being sick.

Well I need to go pull do something fast out of the freezer to cook for dinner so I can take my AP.

Grandma just called to apologize for being sick on my birthday and not able to go out to dinner with my mom and me. She wants to take me out to Chili's on Thursday. She said she had a gift card for there that she wouldn't use otherwise. Yes, it wi be a little too soon to eat there again as I just ate there on Sunday, but I'll live.

Off to find something to eat.

Jerz and I talked about all of that when her H was fired and lost insurance last year. She's got good herbs.
Jerz...you could pay better attention to nutrition. Less soda, more spinach and that sort of thing.
Tell your H to get off his A S S and get O N the insurance, or there will be a couch bus trip to NJ to rip of his head and spit down his neck.

Heated up s frozen cheeseburger. It just came out of the microwave and is scorching hot. Guess I cooked it too long. Letting it cool so I don't burn my tongue when I bite into it.

I have to log off...back later. You are not a wimp. Most of us would have caved, I'm sure. That's why I quit by email with the last line saying "I hereby request that you not email, text or phone me". He did respond with a "message received".

Thank you all for the advice....I got all the herbs...I'm gonna call around to a few GPs tomorrow and find out how much an office visit is...and see if they can prescribe something.

IDEA:

Since what has happened between me and Madame T is effectively a divorce, I should see a divorce counselor. Mr T specialises in children and Aspergics, so I'll need to look elsewhere.

Yup. Got one.

I will discuss my idea with Mr T, and if I go ahead I shall interleave the sessions.

I've invented a new word: forthwrong. For people who are forthright without being right.
