well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Sadie and the neighbor's cat came face to face. Felinity at it's best! This kitty comes to our french doors several times a day to taunt her, and today she came under the fence. Sadie froze, looked at me quivering with this "mother, may I?" look. I shook my head and gave a firm "leave it." Lex lay down in the grass to watch, Sadie inched.
"LEAVE IT!"
"Momma, please?"
"Sadie, NO."
POUNCE MEOW SWAT YIPE.

Just sitting here waiting for the kids to get out of school. The cleaning crew came yesterday so there is nothing extra to do while I wait. I may as well enjoy the quit while I still can. Come Sept. (Only 5 short months) it will be a lot less quiet.

It is extremely annoying. I feel that way about the walk 500 miles song too.

I could only stand to listen to about 30 seconds of it... long enough to find the phrase in question. Luckily I have already forgotten the tune. It sucks when you get a tune you hate stuck in your brain! (Yesterday, lots of people on Facebook were sharing a video clip with a priest singing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" at a wedding... it is a song I dislike with a passion, and as soon as I realised what it was he was singing I closed the browser... but the bl**dy tune still stuck in my head. Gah. I hate that song. I also hate weddings, to be frank.)
