I dont know if its the fact that I spent all evening with my FOO....sat next to my abuser at dinner like it never happened...missing YT... All the crap brought up with entitlement with new T...feeling helpless with my ill friend...being hyped up on prednisone but I am in a very low place that i havent been down to in a long time...

1. I'm really confused about this whole Asperger's thing. Really really confused. Loads of questions in my head. It's like my thoughts are on repeat. I seem to remember there are a couple of people with Asperger's here (the couch). Am I right? If so, were you confused when you got assessed? At what age did you get assessed?

2. I'm really scared of flying home this afternoon (I'm visiting my family at the moment). I wish I didn't have to fear for my life every time I'm on an airplane.

Well, that's good. I reckon the assessment will make things clearer for me too but right now (the assessment is quite far from done) I'm going through a lot of thoughts like "if I actually have Asperger's, how come I've lived for 23 years and no one has ever noticed that I have it?" and "what if I accidentally (and very unintentionally) exaggerate things during the assessment and the result therefore turns out to be wrong?" etc. It all really confuses me.

I hate to hear that SD. Sending positive thoughts your way.

Sorry about the foot Wiki.

(((Alone and Afraid))).

New grill is awesome. Smoked an 8 lb pork shoulder overnight. 12 hours on approx 2 lbs of charcoal. I never had to reload charcoal and maintained 200-225 degrees all night. I'm going to look into a remote temperature device with an iphone app.

Well my day turned out better today than I thought. After church, I totally put the fact that it was Easter out of my head since we had a "family" dinner last night. So I'm almost finished the six loads of laundry. I grocery shopped. I sat with my younger son and we went through his backpack and his whole locker that I made him empty into a bag at the start of spring break.... got it all organized...threw out the extra papers.... printed out all his homework to turn in and got everything already to go for Tuesday. Trying to stay preset and not let myself think too much....

Might even go vaccuum out my car and run through the carwash before it gets dark.

Hello everyone. Haven't been here much. Just wanted to update and let you all know I'm hanging in there. I attended a wedding Friday and it was very difficult to be around certain individuals but I made it through. I wore a dress and shoes and jewelry and make up which is out of the norm for me. The meds caused weight loss but my appetite has picked up again. As far as situational things go...particularly one thing, feels bigger than me and lately I don't emotionally feel my age so I'm having trouble navigating through this very "adult" thing I have no choice but to handle. I feel lost in the wind and made a mistake 2 years ago that is now coming back to bite me in the a s s. I can't take back and correct it without there being severe consequences. So I'm just sort of sticking to the mistake and going on with it and being quiet and patient and seeing how it plays out. I can't discuss it in the open forum. I have to keep it to myself. In any event...just figured I'd drop by with an update and say hi and that I'm thinking about each and every one of you. That's all for now, dear friends.
