Healed I am so sorry I edited my post because I thought my T reads here and now it looks as if you are talking about bare feet randomly.

Oh OK, although personally if I saw my Therapist out in the open I would probably want to chat it up with her .

I was in my car and saw him from behind and was thinking what nice legs until I got closer. It one thing to feel in the room with him but I feel like I've violated his privacy by desiring him outside that setting. Strange.

Thank goodness, I seem to not have posted the long pathetic rant I wrote last night! And I never sent the txt I wrote to T to terminate. Self control vs attention seeking: 1 - 0.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening everyone..... Hope you all have/had a great day!

I am going through/organizing every piece of paper in my house.... it feels good to have everything organized and lots of things thrown out... it is just very time consuming but necessary...

Its amazing what seemed important to keep at the time.

1. Buying a bike is the best thing I've done in a while. Finally able to exercise a bit by going by bike to and from university (about 30-40 minutes a day, unless it's raining because then I go by bus).

2. I'm stressed out of my mind.

3. I had a freaking shut down and/or anxiety attack during the assessment session this week. I can't decide if it was embarrassing or good that the psychologist got to see that. Perhaps it was good since it happens quite a lot when I'm at university etc as well.

4. Two days ago I met the psychologist I'll be going to while I'm getting assessed. I'm supposed to learn how to handle stress. We talked about how I have this tendency to very often get stuck in my head, shut out the world and become withdrawn and quiet. The psychologist referred to those (the stuck in my head thing) as bubbles and she kept saying I need to find ways to get out of them by doing practical things. Things like focusing on my breathing, focusing on sounds to remind myself that there's a world outside my head, go for a walk or something. My homework for next time is to write down things I can do to get out of my head. Haven't really come up with anything yet because when I'm in one of those "bubbles" (especially if it's a really bad one) it's difficult to even get to the point where I manage to focus on the fact that I need to get out of my head.

Also, I have some sort of love-hate-relationship to being stuck in my head. I feel safe there but it also gives me tremendous anxiety a lot of the time. Except when it's a positive "bubble" (feels weird to refer to them as bubbles but I can't really explain it better than that) that is. When I read about things I find interesting for example. Then I shut out the world as well. To focus on my interests. Does that make sense?

When I lived in town I biked everywhere. Now I live 15 km outside town so I'm completely dependent on going by bus. I've thought of getting a bike to keep in town but since I mostly move between work and the bus stop anyway I might as well walk. I hope you have a good strong lock for your bike!

Yes - I see that as simply being able to focus on the important things and not being distracted, and that can only be a good thing.

I'm sorry to hear you are so stressed out. Only a couple of weeks now until the end of the term. When does the summer research school start?

Yeah, only a couple of weeks left but still a lot to do. Except for the assessment (which is good but very draining) I've got a bacteriology exam on Friday (I'm very stressed out and anxious about that of course) and before that I need to finish a lab report and a PM. Then I have a very short course (8 days or so) in statistics. I think we finish on the 5th of June. The summer research school starts on the 9th (I'm so nervous).

Do you get a lot of time off during the summer?

About five weeks, though I'll have to do some work during that time. One week just after Midsummer when I'm going away with my choir; one week in July when I'm taking a course in book binding; and three weeks in August, when H and I are going to England, Wales and Ireland.

I turned the TV on, and TV Guide Network is showing "Analyze This" with Billy Crystal and Robert de Niro. Still a great comedy. Talk about boundary violations!
