I'm supposed to meet up with the psychologist on Monday (finally!) and I think I've decided to tell her about it if the whole thing is still bothering me by then. I just worry that she'll misunderstand.

Good decision, I think, neutrino. I'm sorry things are hard, but it is good that you are finally getting to see a psychologist. How was the summer research programme? I know you found it hard at first, but did it get better?

Aaa, that sounds so rough. I'm sorry. It's good to see you back, though. When are you seeing your T again?

I have left the UK for Ireland. Back home in a week, unless the Icelandic volcano stops the air traffic. And back to T in a week, too.

I really want to go to Ireland, I feel in love with Ireland and Irish culture both past and present, while taking a Yeats/Joyce class in college!

Two things:
1. Exercise
2. Try to work out what I'm angry about. It's generally something I'm aware of, but think is no big deal.

That caught my eye too - some decorations or something. I did notice some trees turning last week, a few leaves here and there. But it was hot and humid today - like summer saying, im not done yet! - and then it stormed.

I saw that same thing during a car trip on Saturday.

At home, I go into my bedroom and scream as loud as I can into a pillow. So far no one in my family has ever heard me do this so I guess a pillow muffles it pretty good. Cuz I scream loud.

If I get stupid-angry at work for no good reason, I have a mini-sandtray on my desk with some little rocks in it, I hold one of the rocks closed in my hand and picture putting my anger into the rock, then put it back in the sandtray and cover it with sand. Sounds silly but you know what, it works sometimes!!
Thanks for this!

Yes, I'm really looking forward to finally seeing the psychologists again, though I'm quite worried about what's going to happen when the assessment is over (which should be pretty soon). Not sure what kind of help I'll get and if I'm going to be seeing these therapists or if I'll get a new one. Anyway, the summer research programme was quite okay, thanks. I found it hard pretty much all the time due to social issues and anxiety but I learned a lot and it was nice spending so much time in the lab.

How's your summer been? You enjoying your time in the UK/Ireland? I used to live in England (lived there for two years). I miss it sometimes.

Just had a meeting with the Boss after her loooong holidays. At the beginning she asked: first name, are you happy? (which in her case is a rhetorical question like: how are you? And you're supposed to say: good, thank you, and you?). Thus, I responded with a smile: "as always" and the Boss: "great!" so I didn't lie, right? The Boss just has no idea that I am as always unhappy

Go for it! You mentioned before about your friends being frustrated about you not making changes. I would bet if you really start making the changes, your friends will be incredibly supportive.
