not feeling anything

Hi,
I had gone to therapy for about a year(different therapists) for different reasons..
I didn't feel like the therapy was helping so I stopped goin
The problem is that I don't really feel anything.
One of the reasons why I went to therapy was that I was afraid of being haunted, and had OCD(rituals).
but it's over now.
The problem now is that I don't really feel enjoyment or suffering out of things.
I have (as far as I know) social phobia.
I'm always afraid to talk to people, and afraid of being embaressed or being weird
( I'm afraid to embaress people with my weirdness).
I think that something is wrong with me due to the fact that I don't really feel suffering
out of that.
I allways try to enjoy things such as music, pictures, girls, ect, but don't know how..
I would really appreciate it if you would be able to help me.
)i'm also taking medicines(ziprexa and risperdal) but on a really small dosage,
wich isn't really supposed to affect me.

Thank a lot,
Anonymius

Hi anonymius,

Seems like your situation is causing you a lot of confusion. I could be totally missing the mark here though. I have the opposite experience. I feel way too much and have to be very careful of situations that lead me to feeling overwhelmed.

I'm hoping somehow you'll gain some clarity about why you're having these experiences. Maybe there are other members here who can offer you more understanding or who can relate better to what you are experiencing. I wish I could have offered more to you.

Take gentle care of yourself, Not feeling anything

If you tell your therapist about how you don't feel anything he/she may be able to help you to over come that. I think that it would be helpful if you talk to your t about this and see what he/she says.
