I like Parks and Rec.

I would rather be sleeping, but like Artemis, haven't quite gotten there. Too much work, but only because I was too tired for it earlier... sigh, vicious little cycle, but I don't have to start work so early tomorrow, I can sleep in so hopefully that'll help.

It's hard to imagine that I might be done w/school in eight months, and then eventually get a job that's not 60 hours a week and have time for enough sleep and a balanced life again.

That or go bankrupt and end up a bitter blogger like that clueless therapist. What's the saying... don't s*it where you sleep???
Thanks for this!

I can relate, Hankster. People who see my apt ask why I never look like I've fully moved in--still have boxes in my kitchen and only a few things on the walls.

Me too, except nothing on walls. Stuff is piled up on boxes like a hoarders place. No furniture, just my bed. I'm very depressed here and dying to change it but body is too weak still.

Awesome cake is awesome. I wonder if the books and things are made out of marzipan. I love marzipan. Omnomnom.
I am so looking forward to having my own place. I never really had before. I went straight from living with roommates to married. Well, actually I went from family to roommates back to family to married. That's kinda depressing if you think about it...

Doing laundry is ever so much fun! Well at least the MadBum is up and maybe he'll hit a grand slam.

The H has taken to doing laundry lately. I suspect he's waiting for me to to complain so he can stop and feel self righteous about it. I'm saying nothing. Just being very careful to keep anything I don't want turning grey out of the laundry basket...
In our house passive aggression is a way of life. I really need to hurry up and get my sh^t together...

I am excited over the fact that I figured out how to dictate rather than type responses here

Yeah - my house too. My h did the laundry exactly ONCE and he washed everything on the hottest setting and ruined some clothes probably on purpose knowing I would ban him from ever doing laundry again which is exactly what happened. Now I do most of it, have recently though gotten assertive and told my son (he's 16) that he has to do his own laundry from now on. His grandma taught him how a couple summers ago. So he does it correctly.

I need to hurry up and get my sh^t together too....

I learned how to dictate when I first started practicing law. So thinking while dictating comes pretty naturally to me. It's actually easier for me than typing. That was way long ago before everyone had personal computers.

Sometimes I get that way to when it's a yucky day cause I had other plans...but sometimes I enjoy those days if I can totally give into it... Dress in my coziest loungewear...drink my favorite thing....snuggle up on the sofa and read or watch a movie....

Yucky weather is the worst if I try to or have to do something (especially if I'm not getting paid)....

Hope you find a way to embrace it or at least enjoy your day....

It has been like this for several days and I am now about to snap. I need sunshine. And dry dogs.
