I grew up visiting a place like that several times a year. It was on acre "farm" nestled at the corner of two rivers. It was awesome. Fireplace was about three times that big and there was always a huge fire going in the cold months.

I like that black pillow on the couch. I always find holding onto something like a pillow calms me down. The pillows in my T's office are made of like plastic-y couch material and don't seem very comforting. I'm always tempted to bring my own. Maybe I will this week.

Oooo. That looks cozy. And I do need to spend more time on the couch... Love that bookcase...

thanks growly and SD, just got back from the emergency vet. I gave my eldest dog a denta bone and it stuck in th roof of his mouth. I pulled it out and all is well, but he bleed everywhere.... am glad it was nothing serious, as he bleed all over me and him.

things are well with W, but my own mental health is lacking. I'm on the hunt for a Pdoc and T in my new area, as apparently I cant fix myself.... as I thiought I could.

My idiot ex. My eldest D is spending time with her half-sister and nephew. The half-sister has a psych dx but is vague about what it is. Anyway got an emergency call from D stating that she wants to have her flight changed ASAP as half-sis and partner are always fighting, sis left her 4 yr son with my D and stormed off whilst they were in the middle of nowhere camping, her son crying because he wants his mum. My D is stressed beyond belief and my ex is more worried about why he can't get into his email than trying to talk to his daughter and settle things between the 2 girls. Just my whinge. Normal viewing shall resume.

At least you tried to fix yourself. Its not giving in to see someone.

to realize and admit you cant do this alone, for me is a major break through. But to acknowledge I cant live my life peacfully witout a 3rd person IE therapist is humbling.
