I definitely don't want Tea or hot chocolate in there, it would be a barrier between me and her, a distraction from being there with her.

When I used to see main T in person, we would often swap coffee-bringing duties. It was a sweet ritual! I hope when I see him over xmas vacation that we will share coffee again.

CBT T has given me water, which feels caring but maybe not as caring as a hot beverage.
He once asked if I drink coffee. I was hoping that meant he'd bring us some!! Not yet.

I love sharing beverages w T …very cozy.

I agree. If they are going to do reparenting, then they can expect to deal with my sibling rivalry issues, why not?! I mean, hey whatever comes up. I KNEW/KNOW where i stand in the family - now where do i stand with t?

Eta - i cant decide if i have a cold or not!!

T offered me coffee one time when I had an 8am appointment.. I turned him down because I had just drank coffee but, to me there something that feels so informal about the two of is having coffee together. Just me and my weird hang ups though.

Thinking of defecting to my friends t (which means that my friend will have to stop seeing her, but I'm sure she can find another one) so I can have a cup of tea. Does this seem like a good plan? Anyone else get tea, or any other hot beverage?
I can't imagine a T offering any kind of beverage. (No, as a matter of fact I once got a glass of water when I was having a fit of coughing.)

I was reading a jackson brodie mystery by kate atkinson. Really really good but boy it takes me a long time anymore. Or seems like, anyway.
I bet he drinks Gevalia coffee

Kate Atkinson is a good author. Life After Life is my favourite book by her, I think.

Thanks for the Hi, Cant explain, I haven't been on the couch before. What time is it with you in NZ? It's bedtime for me here in the Milky Way. I wish this site would tell me the time in my time, I find it confusing looking at the time.
Thanks for this!

Sassafras tea.

I am totally baffled at how a therapist could be considered amazing. I get that they may be useful. I even believe (without having experienced it) they may be insightful at times, but amazing seems over the top to describe someone who just sits there and sometimes mutters something.

It tastes like (and is what was used and still is at home) to make root beer too. I think it is a disgusting flavor.

SD- I wonder if some of us, have just never really had the consistency, and compassion given to us as needed. So, when we get something like a T who really is doing their job well.. It just feels amazing? I by no means think my T is perfect, or think he is some kind of god or something. I just know, that he is doing a great job being my T.. and that feels pretty darn amazing.

Ok then, who do you think is amazing?

(I'm flattered to think that you don't despise me much. Or do I presume too far?)
