good morning couch (yawn) hubby has the viral thing that's going around here a nasty cough and he's miserable, so apparently wants to drag me along with him down misery avenue, during the night at one point I sorta half woke up cuz I was hot, and very innocently and quietly moved the blanket off of myself. He BELLOWED at me (scared the crap outta my half-asleep self too) "I'm sorry you hate it, I'll go sleep out there!" Of course that woke me up the rest of the way and I said "no, I didn't say anything, I was just hot!" I didn't know what to do so I just sniffled quietly to myself and tried to go back to sleep. Which of course I couldn't do. So it's gonna be a long day. Well, on a positive note I do get to talk to t tomorrow. Gotta get to work. Have a good day all.

One huge financial stressor has finally been resolved. Hallelujah! Feel like I can breathe again. It has been the main cause of stress for me for several months now, but now I can take that one off my plate.

It's exam week, so other than grading the rest of these critical essays (about 30 to go) I'm coasting through this week. I start with a new batch of students next week. Not sure that's a good thing. This has been an excellent bunch of kids; they'll be hard to match. That also means we're officially halfway through the school year. Time flies.

Edited to add: Great news!! My department chair just walked in and told me they have changed my schedule for next semester and are giving me all AP classes. Fantastic!! I have longed for that for years! It's about time!

LIFE IS GOOD!!!

I can recognize her voice but I don't recall ever listening much to dr. Ruth or what she was talking about when I did hear her.

This year is shaping up to be messed up for me too. Sigh.

Well, it wasn't necessarily a bad thing - I tend to have a delayed emotional response to things.
It was kind of a big thing for me to contact my T just because I wanted to... Weirded me out a bit...

Ah ok. Well I'm glad to hear that.

I'm delayed too in that regard. Things always hit me later.

Anyone use naturopathic remedies for fluid retention? I think most of the weight gain from the olanzapine is fluid as I have puffy ankles at the end of the day and look 6 months pregnant. This is partly due to my dicky heart which is not quite bad enough to operate on yet. What have you tried? Did they work.?

If SD were a dog I think she would be a Bearded Collie. Hope she doesn't take a flamethrower to me for this observation based on nothing relevant.

I've just realised if I slow down and look at the little onscreen keyboard I will see all the punctuation marks that I need.

Just came home from choir practice. Bach's B Minor Mass is simply glorious.
Not looking forward to T tomorrow, but at the same time it seems like an age until I'll be there.

Has anyone else utilized people's names on here as verbs? I periodically discuss with my T stopdogging. I use it as a noun and an adverb as well -- talking about my inner stopdog, or describing how I went all 'stopdog' on the person, etc. There are a couple of other people I do it with as well; I just thought stopdog was the most likely to realize it was a compliment/lighthearted and not intended as offensive. My T has started using them as well. Sometimes he even steals people's phrases that I have told him I think are funny. For instance, I forwarded him the thread about orgasms in therapy, and his response was, "ACK ACK ACK."

I know it is not offensive and is meant in fun/jest.
It is not unokay with me.

And that whole thread had me Acked out too.
People do relate differently to the therapist/therapy than I do sometimes.
