I'm sorry cat. We got your back.

Unrelated, but where the hell is my motivation to do anything?

My motivation disappeared after going grocery shopping this afternoon.

That's what I really need to do, but since it's almost dark outside now, and it's still raining, that seems less and less likely. Blah.

My motivation always shows up when I'm not in a position to do whatever I'm motivated to do. Then once I'm in a position to do anything it takes off again.

I was motivated this morning. I got the laundry done and boxed up all the kids small clothes. Then I lost motivation and went back to my usual stagnant state.

I need to run to the bank. Times like this I miss having another adult (in the loosest sense of the word) around so I don't have to pack up the kids and drag them along.

Even with another adult around I still end up packing up the kids to bring with me half the time.

Separation anxiety and abandonment issues. I can't even go to the bathroom without my 6 year old. PTSD and nightmares mean the teen bunks in with us about 5 nights out of 7. I need a bigger bed.

Motivation screeching halted around 3 and I haven't chased it down yet. Got a good bit done today then gave up. Oh well there's always tomorrow (or insomnia!!) to finish up.

I was motivated earlier when I went out & got that stuff for camp, but since I've been home I've been planted in front of the tv. I did manage to fold some laundry earlier but that was the extent of it. My get up & go, also got up & went.

maybe I need to order something from wayfair.com so I have the urge to dance like an idiot around my house.

Thank goodness the time changes next week, and the days are getting noticeably longer lately. Having the extra daylight at the end of the day gives me energy.

Where I live, the time doesn't change, we are stubborn and stay on Arizona time all year! A fact for which I am grateful.

Really?? Wow...I had no idea. That's awesome for you. I hate when it's fall and we have to change the time.

I was very sensitive to chair distance and often mentioned it.

I haven't noticed so much recently. Could be that I am less vigilant.

Hey SD - thanks again for the insight yesterday. I tried to be more impulsive today, and i got more stuff done as a result. I am pleased.

Opposite for me - the day we "fall back" is my favorite day of the year, i love that extra hour, but i hate losing it in spring. Im already getting crabby

I was so happy when I put my March calendar in my classroom after school on Friday. I think we are going to do a special count down to the first day of spring in my class!

Ah, but you also have those beautiful Arizona sunsets in the evenings. If I were in AZ (instead of this frozen east coast hellscape) I'd probably drop everything and stare slack-jawed at the horizon whenever the sun began to set..screw motivation, lol.
