The little pup ate s bowl of mixed vegetables. Like his brother he doesnt seem to like the peas. We would mash the peas up but still the older dog would manage to spit them out. Maybe it the texture of pea case its kinda slippery.
Thanks for this!

Cool whip is not something I consume. I am not all that worried about how plastic it is - I like fritos for example, but I don't like the taste or texture of cool whip.
Admittedly I am not a huge fan of whipped cream either.

Was that just a hypothetical example or what. I dont understand how to can like something but not the taste or texture as these are fundamental qualities to food

I meant I don't like taste or texture of cool whip. Fritos I like the taste and texture. I don't keep fritos in the house because I eat the whole bag in three or four sittings

Does anyone else watch RuPaul's Drag Race? This show is so great.

This post brought to you by some Laurelwood's Northwest Red Ale.

Grass cutting season has arrived.
As the time has almost come where to anything other than grading, even cutting grass, is preferable - in a month I will be cleaning, cooking and even my most hated - yard work just to postpone grading.

Moving between depressed and sad, and depressed and *****y/snarky. Why are most of us expected to suck it up and play nicely no matter how crappy we feel while others are pampered and babied and protected. AND it always seems to me that the ones being babied and protected are the ones least deserving of it. Just want to punch someone in the face and then go to bed with a giant bag of chocolate.

Yeah, I guess. Yesterday in physical therapy, the therapist did something that caused me considerable pain. So I told her that it was quite painful, made it so I couldn't lift my arm, blah blah. She immediately addressed it (what she was doing was apparently partially dislocating my shoulder) but then told me that after my reaction, she could see why no one believed me when I said my arm was broken last summer. Seriously? I SAID it hurt. If I am saying out loud that something hurts, why not just ****ing believe me? What do other people do when something hurts? Also, I was apparently supposed to tell her it hurt so she would stop before my shoulder dislocated. How the **** was I supposed to know that? I thought she had a reason to be doing what she was doing to the extent she was doing it.

Another person in the therapy room told me she fainted when she broke a bone. I was like, "how was that helpful?" She said it was helpful because then she didn't feel pain, but my question was more directed toward how was it helpful in terms of getting the broken bone fixed? How is fainting productive in that sense? It just delays the time it takes to get to the hospital. Also, this woman apparently did not drive herself to a hospital. She and the therapists seemed to think most people do not drive themselves to the hospital when they break something.

Also why does this web site keep kicking me off over and over. I have not posted outside the couch and I have not violated any rules here that I know of.

Apparently shakeying it is synonymous with hankstering it

I know. I get this. I have also driven myself to the hospital - more because other people get all emotional and that does not help. And it is frustrating to tell people something that to me sounds like I am being completely over the top - and later people are like - you acted like it was nothing - well good lord - I clearly stated "My wrist may be at an odd angle - perhaps something is amiss" or "I find that distressing" or in extremely painful situations "ouch"
People, even those I am close to, and even both of the therapists (actually all 4 of the ones I have seen throughout my life) have told me and still tell me I am understated and difficult to read.

MKAC - I understand you - I have no idea why others do not listen to what we say about such things.

I also wish people would listen to my words and not just what I display. Just because I'm not expressing it outwardly doesn't mean I don't feel it inwardly.

The second one I see, the one who actually does listen to me, has said that she understands I think I am going to be over the top but outwardly I appear as if nothing is happening.
The first one is simply clueless.
I am actually okay with real people in my life not getting it. When they get a glimpse, they get all out of control and chaotic and that is so not useful.

My parents wouldnt listen to me unless i cried. But i refused to cry. My mother once bought me a work outfit (i had graduated college but was still living at home) that was a light blue too tight ruffle vested polyester pant suit. For that, i cried She returned it.
