He was using my mental health information in a malicious manner. He is not abusing me anymore though.

Then shipping him dolls and calling him names makes even less sense

It maybe makes sense if he was your current man. But he is your ex. How do health workers know how he treats women?

Just few months ago you said you smoke pot to help with psychotic episode. People advised you not to do so. And take Meds insteAd

A month later you said mental health workers stab you with knives and laugh at you when you cry. People told you to go to the hospital ASAP. Now this.

When is the last time you saw your doctor?

I see a doctor all the time. I just have all of this distressing stuff I was never permitted to talk about in therapy. For some reason, mental health workers do not like me bringing up stuff that upsets me.

Look, none of us can be there, to know for sure if you're hallucinating or not. And unfortunately, if you ARE having hallucinations, well, you won't think that you are. Because you will think that it's normal and real.

That's why all that any of us can do is encourage you to take your meds, to not self-medication, and to talk to your doctor. While there are plenty of professionals who are abusive.... having that vast combination by more than one person is realllllly slim.

Plus, the things that they've told you to do? Are very bizarre. The fact that you acted on what they told you to do... is also a bit odd.

Put all of that together..... and the most logical conclusion to an outsider is that you are having hallucinations.

No one sees a doctor "all of the time"... that's sort of dodging the question. How frequently do you see your pdoc, and when was the last time that you saw him/her?

While no one can say for certain, that strongly suggests that you are hallucinating and that is why you believe you are supposed to be doing these things. If you really want to know for sure, you could go to a new hospital or a new doctor (not affiliated with your current mental health workers) and get them to evaluate you AND determine what is going on with your previous care team. That would give you an independent opinion so that, either way, you get the help you need.

MJ and schizophrenia can be a VERY dangerous combination...

You posted on June 8 that you do smoke it and feel that it helps your schizophrenia. If you have quit smoking it since then, that's great. I just think it's worth considering all of your threads, as a whole, when you are trying to get to the bottom of what is going on in regards to the dolls, hate words, etc. You also have several threads about why you think its better not to take your meds, which is why we are wondering if, perhaps, you are not taking your meds (or not taking them as prescribed).
Thanks for this!

Are these people doctors? I am saying go see a doctor. Not the workers. Who are they? Social workers?

And I actually advise you to see him
ASAP rather than just continue taking Meds if you do. Like see him today. Don't stop Meds but see the doc ASAP

Meds don't seem to work plus you said yourself on other thread they don't seem to work. Tell your doc that's going on in your life and that's what I take and let him or her look into it. Tell him what mental health people tell you

In some thread you even said that instead of what you take you think of taking something else.

CANDC - sounds like you found another psycho T. I had one too. Mine exploited me and TOLD EVERYONE IN MY PERSONAL LIFE MY PRIVATE INFORMATION. HE BROKE EVERY ETHICAL RULE OF BEING A COUNSELOR. HE RUINED MY CAREER AND ALMOST DESTROYED ME EMOTIONALLY.

Don't listen to a professional who tells you to do something against all logic. Hold onto your common sense. Many of them are sick themselves. You have to weed out the good ones. I hope there are good ones out there but not sure about that. Fire that T and insist on someone else to help your family.

This post has become very confrontational and probably unhelpful.

Joshuas-mommy, what do you want from us in response to your posts? Do you welcome people challenging what we think are hallucinations? If so I think you should post about any instructions that you think might be odd before you act on them.

I just posted because I posted another thread about losing custody of my son and I found it very helpful. I was just wondering what to do about people telling me what to do. I am sure that someone telling me something wasn't a hallucination. I didn't feel this thread was as helpful as others in the past.

I personally never said anything about hallucinations. I don't know enough about those. I just kept saying tell all of this to you doctor and see what he says. When I have big questions I ask my t as I don't have Pdoc.

We can't help as much as doc would as we aren't there and don't see what's going on first hand. When op shared that she is in danger then I advised 911 right away ( like when mental health people stabbed her with knives).

Don't know how else we can help. I can not advise anything about the dolls. The whole dolls story scares me as I do know someone whose mother sends people dolls, usually broken ones or no head. She attaches notes that are in some codes. It is upsetting story all together

It is unusual and a bit disturbing to send people dolls unless they request and i know it could be upsetting to get something like this in the mail. So seeing doctor about this is important

Also in regards to custody. When you ask for visitations your ex could use this doll story against you. I know he forgave but he most likely has a record of it. So rather sending him stuff or calling him names talk to a doctor to avoid consequences

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
