I made some tasty ham and cheese puff pastry things but I used a tad too much mustard, so they are a bit tangy.

Yum. What did you use for the puff pastry? I am waiting for someone to invent a healthful frozen one!

The regular non-healthy kind. I think the amount of butter to get flaky puffing -is not congruent with healthy.

Where do you find puff pastry in a grocery store? Is it in the frozen section? Is it near the refrigerated tubes of Pillsbury crescent rolls? I've been meaning to try them out but I never think to look for them.

I'd like to taste those pastries of you, stopdog.

I had a math test today, it went well. You could gain 73 points total and there was only one exercise, worth 4 points, that I didn't know the answer to. So this test might not even lower my average grade. (that's a 9.0 - tests are marked 1.0-10.0, with 1 being the lowest grade and 10 being the highest. 5.5 and up is a pass)

Biology and my first language (which I won't specify so as to not give away my country of origin) tomorrow. Biology isn't that hard - it's about reproduction and heridity, basically hormones, pregnancy and chromosomes - but the language test contains a lot of literature history which I can never get into my head. Luckily it also contains difficult words and spelling, which I'm respectively above average and rather good at.
Then my dad'll pick me up and we'll go see my pdoc. After that, studying for the tests on Thursday (Chemistry and English). Busy day tomorrow.

I read this sentence way too fast at first and suddenly had an image of stopdog not making pasties...but the other thing you do with pasties.

I feel like I need to wash out my brain with soap now.

Actually I think you're channeling Faye Dunaway attempting to channel Joan Crawford.

Since we're on the subject...which is worse, dangling prepositions or dangling participles?

I vote participles.

Pass me the box of wine and a big straw - i just talked to my other aunt for fifteen minutes. I think i have 2 maternal and 2 paternal remaining. Only one, a maternal, is blood related, the others are in-laws. I should probably call the other maternal. The other paternal is in italy.

Wine. Wine. Whine. Theres just nothing there. Come see me. Come live with me. Youre not doing anything. No, im not. But its MINE. Am i weird? A life of ones own.

Dangling preposition - a preposition usually at the end of a clause that has been separated from its object.

E.g., Which therapist are you talking to? should be To which therapist are you talking?

Dangling participle - a participle usually at the beginning of a clause that doesn't have an obvious noun to modify

E.g., Talking to my therapist, the time passed quickly should be Talking to my therapist, I passed the time quickly (or better yet Time passed quickly as I talked to my therapist).
Thanks for this!

The dangling participle is worse.
I, of course, avoid dangling prepositions in real writing, but not informal chatty areas such as on this forum. Sometimes in chatty familiar writing, avoiding the preposition dangle makes the sentence more awkward or formal sounding than is usual.

Dangling a participle, a subject may reveal an unconscious motivation. i likes 'em!

I don't believe the unconscious is revealed through bad writing.
I am not fully certain I believe in the unconscious existing at all.
