Then "roomba" is a compliment.

Does it have to do with not getting in the corners?

Oh, and sometimes they get hung up on a piece of furniture and just keep banging at it instead of backing off and trying a different approach?

It sounds like an incredibly good idea and the answer to all your problems - then it just turns out to be this... thing... that causes more problems than it solves...

Oh well. The cat seems to enjoy it.

My animals would probably be on that cat-shaming website for mauling, mutilating, and otherwise destroying a roomba. They really hate things that move around willy-nilly such as oscillating fans or lawn sprinklers. The damage would be more severe if we still had dogs

We're having cheese-salsa-ground beef dip for dinner. I'll manage to sneak a salad in there and call it 'special nachos' like the restaurants do. DD1's idea of a healthy meal rarely includes leafy greens.

Our call center had a record Tuesday with 502 total calls. Today was probably around 400. Still busy but at least a breath in between answering.

Had a headache all day, again. Still dizzy. Strange numb fingertip on right index finger. Probably should seek medical attention, but can't bring myself to do it. Headache and dizziness I'm blaming on sinus/ear issues, numbness I'm blaming on nerve pain from bad back. That's what I'll convince myself of if I say it enough!

Good lord 400 calls in ONE DAY?! How in the world do you do that? I take 100 in a 10 hour day and am exhausted. We are required to keep our average handle time under 5 min 30 seconds and I am barely starting to meet that again since I started taking the high touch calls last month. I cannot fathom doing 400 calls in one day. You are amazing!

I tweaked my back somehow today at work, no idea how or when, just out of nowhere it started hurting in one spot so much I couldn't take a deep breath and it was even hard to talk for awhile. When I got home I went and sat in the hot tub for a little bit, and now I'm relaxing with a glass of wine, I think the knots are starting to work their way out. It was an extremely busy day my calls were literally back to back until about an hour before I came home.

It's almost 0 degrees out tonight but my ENT wants to see me at 8:30a.m. tomorrow morning.

My dog expressed her opinion about that....and I have to agree.

It's too cold!

Thank you but there are usually at least 5 of us on the phones all day. The 500 call day one of my coworkers took 95 calls, I was absent for a couple hours so I only took 70-ish. Not sure how you take 100 every.single.day I would faint!

Only on 10 hour days in crazy-busy January. Normally, I take around 75-80.

I think I would be a serious flop in a call center. I have to admire anyone who can talk with more than 70 people on the phone per day.
Thanks for this!

A side effect of working: I try to never ever talk on the phone outside of work. I removed the phone from my house, and my cell goes unanswered a lot. Texting is even bothersome sometimes!

My therapist's practice has a Facebook page that I check occasionally. A few minutes ago, someone posted from it and my T replied...It's hard knowing how easy it could be for me to interact with her over this post but I can't cross that boundary...I feel so close to her yet so far away.

Later.. It's s hard thing to deal with sometimes. T and I have 5 mutual friends in fb, and I see him interact a fair amount.. And I have to remind my self to remember that line.
