Hugs to you EM and all others who want them.

Well at least i had about 10 hours of no dry socket pain. I guess the clove stuff came out during my sleep and i swallowed it cuz i woke up at like 1 am with raging pain again plus sick to my stomach. I don't want more put in if its just going to fall out again. I hope this thing heals soon. I may just go get my own clove oil and use it topically on the area. The dentist said the packing doesn't make it heal any faster it just helps with pain. ETA: I decided to go back after all since it's Friday - they won't be available over the weekend.

Neurologist appointment is for May 4th.

DD is understandably not dealing with it well, either.

That's scary all right.

Hope the dentist repacked it for you. Please don't use neat clove oil yourself because the stuff they use isn't neat and is mixed with other things. If you go to a drug store, there are Red Cross toothache relief kits in the oral health section which are much better. Good luck

Or perhaps it's just that when men act the way ewomen are supposed to, they are known as wusses. But what do I know - I'm not fully human...

Stressing today because parts of me think I revealed too much. I've done this often enough to know that "this too shall pass" but I hate sitting in the middle of it.

That's what I'm struggling with right now too. I know it will pass and it's better to get it out when I can but sometimes I don't know if the aftermath is worth it.

In this particular area, I think women have higher pain tolerances in general (probably because we were formed to give birth), and many men that i have come across don't handle being sick/unwell without getting all whiny about it. it is a obvious generalization, and i also know men who don't...

My grass (weeds, really) is so tall it looks like nobody lives at my house. My lawn mower got tossed at the giant tool sale last year. A new one costs the same as having the yard done about 2 times by a pro or 3 times by a kid in our neighborhood. Guess I'm buying a new one and doing it myself. Thanks (not really) to my cell phone deposit being applied to my bill, I now have the extra cash to get one. I'll be wearing a dust mask, loads of sunscreen, and a hat. When The Boy gets back from visiting his mom, it becomes his chore. I think the couch knows how I rank yard work, as I'd rather scrub grout with a toothbrush or babysit an entire kindergarten class instead. Here's to keeping the fines low and the neighbors happy!
Thanks for this!
