I'm stuck on YouTube "parole de chat" it's cats talking French but there are English subtitles. Also dogs, ferrets, etc. My favorite so far is when the guy tosses his clothes in the hamper and the kitten in the hamper Frisbees them.
Thanks for this!

I watch them. Some of them I fall of the chair laughing. Like the hide and seek one.
Thanks for this!

The guy is so droll. So dry. Just insanely funny. He really did change my mood today. Nothing EVER accomplishes that.

I love pumpkin spice oreos.

What does one do (besides drink more wine) when they are completely consumed by hatred for their idiotic spouse?

no answer needed. I'm just going to drink til I fall asleep and not talk to him.

And do my utmost not to call t. I have already had half of a BIG glass, so am already to the point where contacting t is a very bad idea. Although I want her very much right now.

I think you should definitely call your T -- perhaps not right now when you're not super sober but first thing tomorrow?

Thanks for this!

It's only 7:30 your time, Art. Maybe finish the glass, find something to distract yourself? (Swimming would probably not be a good idea.). Go to bed early?

BY - do you have arnotts large teddy bear biscuits, nice biscuits or the milk arrowroot? Those would probably come close to the graham cracker type. It seems as though the arnott's tiny teddy biscuits are like our teddy grahams over here.
I have eaten and enjoyed arnott's tim tams.

Contempt is not, from what I have read, a good sign in a marriage.
Is there anyway to separate yourself from his interactions with others? Like just let him be him without you needing to take on what you think is wrong with how he goes about things? It seems to stress you out a lot. I would not think it a fun way to live if one was drinking to avoid the person I lived with.
Of course, I am not great at living full time with anyone else - so what do I know about it.

I did at least go outside to feed the birds while he was arguing with our son. Son has since left to spend the night at his friends house. Smart son.

I am drinking not only because of h, but because of work today, and several other stressers all lumped together. I don't hate him all the time. Just sometimes. But I am fighting against my upbringing, you see. Divorce is only whispered about and frowned upon and an affront to God etc etc. Not that I even really believe in their "religion" anymore, but some things stick with a person, I do think more and more lately that I don't want to be married to him, or to anyone, anymore or ever again. But at the same time, I vowed til death do us part. I struggle with this often lately. How could I even be thinking this, when I vowed to love him until one of us dies? More importantly, what the hell was I thinking when I married him?!

Again, rhetorical. I'm sorry for dumping all of this on the couch. You guys are seeing right to the very core of me at the moment.

Eh, I don't need to call t. She wouldn't be able to do anything anyway. Just tell me the same things I already know. Yes, she would be sympathetic and kind but... so are you guys. I'm not going to do anything stupid. And once I go to bed shortly, I will talk to her in my head anyway and that will be enough. I do believe I truly have internalized her, I just forget that sometimes..... we have very helpful conversations right inside my head when I let them happen.....

I'm sorry for my word vomit y'all. But it's so very helpful.

I may call her tomorrow from work if I haven't shaken this off by then.

Swimming is definitely not a good idea - but I'm going to take a long, hot shower and go to bed as soon as I finish this glass. Funny how my typing is usually worse than this by this point. Maybe it's true, sometimes we DO need wine....

I have ten pills to take every night before bed. Tonight, I can't stand the thought (or all the swallowing). Probably not the best idea to skip, but whatevs.

I dislike taking pills too! I take 6 vitamins every day. For me, it helps if I use a straw. Don't know the logic behind it but (excuse me) I fill my mouth through the straw and pop the pill back and swallow. It works great for me. I have a gag issue (excuse me again) somehow this bypasses it.
