And shenanigans - once one has hijinks - can shenanigans be far away?

And then there could be some tomfoolery and hanky-panky...and it could all end in a brouhaha.

There is constant tom-foolery but I draw the line at hanky panky.
Most certainly the brouhaha will lead to pandemonium and hullaballoo.
In fact, I just asked the dogs if we really needed all the hullaballoo that was occurring mere moments ago.
They ignored me and continued cavorting as if I had never spoken.

The only reason i dont use the single quote is because the stupid keyboard designers havent figured out yet that it needs to be on the main keyboard. Ive said this before on here. It wrecks my rhythm to have to press a letter harder to make it come a quote. I guess it bothers people but too bad. Sometimes i spell wrong on purpose just to poke a hole in my own perfectionism.

You know very well i think your posts are brilliant. Honestly ive never even noticed any spelling or grammar issues with them.

This is actually pretty wise, and something i tend to practice, altho maybe not for the same reasons? I feel lik i just cant talk about myself anymore, at least to some people. Im like, why are you asking? Esp the ratchet aunts. Actually with them, i improve my OWN life by shutting up about my own life. I guess thats just boundaries.

Anyway good post. And im sorry i derailed it with the grammar thing. I always wanted to be a Bletchfield code girl. Well ever since last year when i learned about them.

I did five in a row for at least a year. And sometimes more than one session in a day. I still do 4 a week.

On a brighter note. This week (for the first time in 9 years) I actually think that I am going to get better. This is a very unfamiliar thought.

Granite, the ONLY thing I read about punctuation and grammar in this thread is someone asking if it was normal that their T write with or without contractions (don't vs do not) in emails....and people responding to that? Did I miss some other conversation? I see no one mocking anyone, and especially you.

PS Granite: I didn't mean to come off as harsh or anything, but I just saw a huge reaction over something I am unclear on what you perceived as an attack on you, and wanted to let you know that I don't see anyone mocking anyone on here. We are not in the business of humiliation on the Couch that I have noticed.

I'm not sure I can, I can't use those words in verbal form unless no on is listening. <-----that was my attempt at humor which doesn't make me feel funny or have the effect I thought it would.

I'm sure I'll say some of it. I just know I'm going to leave session still unsettled and nothing resolved and I don't know how to ask for more appts when I already take up most of her week.

thank you unaluna , velcro , atat, prec, and mkac . it just seemed like a bunch of you were making fun of people in general who dont use correct grammar and spelling and when i said how i was feeling made fun of and humiliated i was turned into the bad guy as usural for saying anything about how i felt. i know i need to keep my mouth shut because when i get hurt and express it i get jumped on about hurting others . stupid me . i know im not as smart as people here or people in my real life and it is humiliating and it does hurt .

Today was the first day of school. I drove to work (hee-hee!!) then had a typical Monday, came home with a headache and kids fussing for dinner (I literally was walking in the front door!) and now I just want to lay down in peace for a few minutes and remember that these petty arguments will blow over and we'll all want to be friends again later tonight. Grrrr.

They just LITERALLY called shenanigans on the local 6pm news on a county election clerk because she opened a sealed bag of absentee ballots. Ha ha ha rolling on the floor laughing my behind off they said shenanigans

I don't think any of us were hurt by your saying you felt humiliated. And I'm sorry for any hurt we caused you. Granite, it's OK to say things like that on the Couch. We're not going to turn on you.

As for your posts, I think of it as your own style - part of you and what makes you unique and valuable in this community. You know, kind of like unaluna's style involves using the nose-picking emoticon, or mine involves frequent references to underg's, but a heck of a lot classier than both of us.

The property manager lady left behind all the copies of the keys to my place. Should I ring and let the office know, wait until they call looking for the keys ao will she just turn up. She can't just turn up because the dog will be inside, and he's not supposed to be. What should I do? I don't want to have to drive into town to drop them off and why should I when it was her fault. Maybe I could leave them in an envelope in the letterbox and call the ofice.

ETA Called the office and they are calling her.
