I like the notion that it is a rapier. The therapy encounter is far from a dual for me though. Perhaps he is fighting my corner.
It might be an appropriate symbol to represent stopdog's therapy.
Thanks for this!

I think I'll sit in the corner untill Christmas is over. I have been invited over to the ex place for Chistmas lunch at least there will be other people i don't really know. I won't feel bad for not staying very long. I really am only going because the girls asked me.

Never mind. I'm just being stupid.

Or perhaps honesty is overrated.

I will take a hug. This holiday is always pretty bad for me since I see the person who gave me PTSD. Today my pre-visit anxiety began to hit. I've got lots of positive, protective memories built up with Mr. T over the years to help me battle the bad memories that get triggered, but it's no fun.

I am doing a practice run of roasting beef (a cheaper cut) to different temps to see which one to use for my small gathering rib roast on sunday. I am just seeing what results (according to our preferences) in the perfect temp to pull it out of the oven.

Nigella sounds like a cootie you get from contaminated groundwater.

Due to an unfortunate series of events recently, we are down one (my favorite and the most perfect boy ever) dog for the holiday.
It has been less than a festive season here.

Its a baby version of a nigella, like before a frog gets its legs, a tadpole.

Or a member of This Is Spinal Tap.

Trial day #2 at potential new job went smoothly. Tomorrow is 3 more hours of trial and then the verdict. Did Jersey prove herself sufficiently enough to be hired? We wait and see. Trying to stay positive that this will happen. I hope all this work is worth it in the end. I'll be devistated if I'm not chosen.

Thanks. I know. He was not old. He collapsed suddenly and unexpectedly while playing. I rushed him to the specialty advanced medicine vet - but to no avail and so the decision was made and implemented. It took less than 24 hours.
