It's a Rorschach test! Doesn't matter what it is, it's what you see.

Me, I see a pine tree toppled across a driveway. What does that mean? Am I sane?
Thanks for this!

Does it affect my analysis if it looks to me like the snake is mansplaining?

Was the snake the first mansplainer? I.e., to Eve?

I would be more worried if you saw the snake manspreading!

Sorry, iPhone camera through a dirty window at dusk in the rain. My neighbors tree fell in the road blocking my gate. It's been moved by a Good Samaritan so I still have to work tomorrow.

Has anyone ever wondered about the three blind mice?

Three blind mice, three blind mice,
See how they run. See how they run.
They all ran after the farmer's wife.
She cut off their tails with a carving knife.
Did you ever see such a sight in your life
As three blind mice?

Why is the focus on their blindness and not their taillessness? On their inborn disability rather than the disability caused by violence? Is the idea that it's worse to be born disabled than become disabled?
Thanks for this!

I took the Rorschach test as a kid with my charming ***** of a childhood T. I didn't see one person in any of the inkblots (only animals), which meant something so meaningless to me that I forget what it was.

Are you mocking Helen Keller now?

Future ex was one of those people who thinks she was a fraud. Course, he also thought I exaggerated my disability.

Eta: I just noodled around with a multiple-choice Rohrschach test online. I show some signs of "psychological disturbance." Kewl.

(Also if you select nothing listed here all the time, you're completely sane. You just have no imagination.)

Sometimes he stops talking and asks "Is something wrong?". I'm not sure what does he notice.
And sometimes i feel really strange but he doesn't notice.
Thanks for this!

Yes he does but he never says anything. I am supposed to raise my hand when I notice but I am usually frozen and can't do it. It's only talking about it later that he says he has noticed it.
Thanks for this!

Yes... Actually he goes into dissociation-handling mode a bit too quickly sometimes. I think he's worked with a lot of people with massive trauma in their backgrounds.

I'm not sure that I've ever really dissociated. I just go a bit weird sometimes.

Was your session okay today?

Good morning (shush Munie, it is still the morning!) couch. I am still feeling paranoid.

Got a reply from T but since it didn't say "YOU ARE OKAY AND EVERYTHING IS OKAY" I've decided he is totally sick of me. As is everyone else.

Oh well.

For the most part, yes.

Session was not so good... I've been in a weird mode, so it's not his fault. Ended up not being able to speak in whole sentences.

I'm not sick of you. I'm sire your T isn't either. You are okay and even if not everything feels okay right now, it can get okay in the future

(((Munie))) that sounds horrible... did you ask the question about dissociation because you feel like he didn't handle it very well?

How are you now? If you still feel out of it, I recommend finding a nice place outside somewhere and breathing and feeling your feet on the ground and watching the birds... Oh, wait, you have birds inside to watch too! Maybe spend some time with them?

Thank you for the reassurance... and you too, (((Capt))). Why couldn't T say that?

I s'pose he didn't know that I needed him to say that.
Thanks for this!
