Yeah sometimes the extra cost is worth it, but things could change between now and then. I usually stay in Falls Church or Fairfax when I go, so if I were you I'd look at hotels in that area.
Thanks for this!

Trust you to bring up N. Marsh (it's been decades since I've seen, let alone read, any of the books)!

Squirrel - how long is the drive? Generally driving is cheaper than flying or training, it just costs gas and maybe a hotel overnight, it solves the problem of transit when there, you can pack more, etc.
Thanks for this!

I used to love Ngaio Marsh. I might take a trip to the library library catalogue says they only have them in audiobooks, that's a shame.

If you don't mind reading on a screen (and depending upon Australia's copyright laws:
https://readonlinefree4.net/read-free-ngaio-marsh

http://www.ebooks-library.com/author.cfm/AuthorID/1677

You also could check project gutenberg or see if australia had any free sites

Thanks SD I think our copyright laws say the author has to be dead 70 years and things depending on the family involvement. Sorry meant to works go into public domain 70 years after authors death

so far every CSM (customer service manager) has been rude to me. i was basically a CSM at my old job, except we were called bookkeepers and we did the CSM's job plus bookkeeping. i dont get why they have to be rude *****es. like i walked in with my shoe thingy , limping. i said hi umm im a new hire. she was like ok what did you do to your foot. i told her what happened and she freakin stared at me for 30 seconds straight, no blinking , so i stared back. like what the hell was that ? some intimidation tactic?

anyway i could not care less about this job or sucking up to these ladies, so they can get their head out of their *** and just be a regular human being .

hi granite thanks for thinking of me. I am doing well! I've been staying away from PC for a bit because t and I started the termination process not long ago and I guess I just needed to have a clear head about it all. I'd been spending way too much time reading stuff away from the couch and it was messing with my head y'know?

Anyway I came back on here tonight to post on the dear t thread so i wouldn't email t as a matter of fact... we had a bit of a train wreck of a session this evening, I got really frustrated with her and started acting out, really acting like a brat, oh well. Par for the course I guess. Leaving her is so very hard!! Especially after she told me that she had already started grieving the loss of 'us'. I told her I wasn't ready to do that yet. But she made me anyway and I reacted kinda badly. Sigh.

I think I'll hang around for a couple days and catch up with everybody....

Wow! I just got a one off govt energy payment to help with rising costs of electricity of the princely sum of $75! That's a one-off payment not even an annual one- off payment.
