It's just smoking hot all around

(I can -- with some non-trivial effort -- manage to successfully fill the tank.)

Just remember, una, I know how to check tire pressure. I can even put more air in the tires, change a flat, change the oil, jump the battery, AND tell you which side of the car the fuel tank is located on with just a glance at the dashboard!
You are a wellspring of information. Mr. Beavers only knew about the fuel tank trick.

Just finished the 2nd to last lesson and quiz and posting my assignment. Now I'm trying to read the last lesson, but h is playing videos which are distracting me, so I guess I'll take a break and go get the laundry started. It's gotta be done anyway. Besides I like the songs lol

I propose a contest between Beavers and ATAT.

My money's on ATAT of course but I would like to extend my sympathy to Beavers' therapeutic / masculine / therapeutic-masculine pride, perhaps?

If his nickname is Beavers, he's not that masculine anyway.

Haha! That's just mean. I pity his massacred pride.

Hi couch.

Well, I managed to try taking a nap again and succeeded. Yay! Well rested now to leave for CVS in about 30 minutes and work on inventory stuff. I already don't feel like cooking tonight...maybe I will go to Golden Corral after I am off for dinner. Or maybe Denny's (they are right beside each other). I can decide which I am in the mood for when the time comes. Or there is always the McDonald's drive-thru. Heh.

I am still worried that I will go "nuts" the 2 weeks in July that I am on vacation at CVS. Not having any job is going to feel so weird and C still has camp, so I can't even see him to kill time. I will die of boredom. Need to start planning now how to occupy my time.

Ugh same. I'm going to work a total of 8 days in July, and while I have plenty to do, I'm one of those people who needs routine to be functional. If you weren't so far away I'd say we could be bored together.
Thanks for this!

Ever notice how you don't want to go anywhere until you lack the means to do so? I'm going nuts here! How do I constantly run out of necessities anyway?!

I spent a lot of time out in the garage with my dad. I'm a prissy girl and car mechanics like to try to pull all sorts of crap on me but... when I tell them more than they even know - they take a step back.

Also, can I add - I don't know if any of you support the Brewers but their announcers are horrid. I feel like they are teaching kindergartners about baseball rules - I wish that my regular chopper announcers were working today.... alas, I'm stuck with these idiots.

Well, I just finished taking the final exam for my writing class. It was 36 questions and I missed only one - I was quite surprised because I felt like I missed at least 5. Anyway I got an A so yay me! Now that I've got all the preparation work done, it's time to actually start writing my story. Seems like I was just starting the class and now it's over already. Now I need to figure out which psychology class I want to take in the fall. I might do another 6-week summer class, too.

My h watches a lot of baseball on tv and whenever he hates the announcers, he'll turn the volume down and do his own play-by-play, sometimes even in a Howard Cosell voice.

While I LOVE the time off, the sheer amount of free time can get my anxiety spinning into high gear. It gives me far too much time inside my own head.

It helps me a lot to create a new daily routine--gym, errands, chores, tv, etc. I also often try a new hobby to keep me busy!
Thanks for this!

Hi couch! Well, I took some of my hard earned money from the extra hours of work this week and went and bought myself a laptop. Not a real expensive professional one as I dont need something with a lot of bells and whistles. Just something I can use to go online, email and type stuff up as needed. H is setting it up for me now. I probably should've put the money away for a rainy day but I wanted a new toy! Now H left to go pick up some food and we are going to stream the last couple episodes of Orange Is The New Black. We only have about 3 episodes left of the current season. I can't believe I like that show. My mind is twisted. lol

I gather you're a fan of the baseball pants (there was a discussion about it a while ago)?

Whew, on the road again. Went to get the necessities, and ice cream, which should be on the list of necessities imo. Life sucks less now. I'm very thankful for my neighbor the mechanic and my ex-boarders for picking up kids and parts. I'm thinking ice cream for dinner, since it will ruin my appetite anyway. Thanks for being here couchies!!
