I love organized firework shows, not the people in the neighborhood setting off their own.

I live in an area surrounded by major fireworks shows. They started last night and will be each night through the 4th from various locations. We'll probably go out Tuesday night to watch our local fireworks show which is usually really nice. The town has a big 4th festival in old downtown in the early evening beforehand and then the show about 9:30.

A town close to me is doing them tonight instead of on the actual 4th, to the point that I can hear them and see flashes of light if I look the right way (though not the actual fireworks). So maybe it's that?

D a m n it...I spoke too soon. It needs to stop it is after 10pm... not that I am trying to sleep or anything, but other people in the neighborhood probably are.

I am tempted to take another lorazepam I am still so on edge (my usual dose is only 0.5mg twice a day...so taking another one would only mean I took 1mg tonight, that is still in the safe range, not like I will overdose)

Then again, this may be a bad idea spawned by my inability to think clearly. Ugh, Wednesday cannot come soon enough. Not much I can do till then as it is the weekend and pdoc's office is closed (will also be closed mon/tues for the holiday) and not reopen until Wed, which is when my appointment is.

Haven't heard anything in about 5 minutes, so maybe they are really done this time. I HATE fireworks.

Going to take a break from PC for awhile. Seems like nothing here anymore in the way of positive support; just too much constant negativity all the way around. Not what I need in the way of a support forum these days. I may be back later if my needs change and/or the general tone of PC changes; it's just gotten so negative and I'm looking for something different these days. Best of luck to all of you in the meantime.

Okay, now that I am not jumping out of my skin anymore...try to clean at least a little... I can stay up all night. I only work half a day at CVS tomorrow. Sleep is overrated.

Twins are in bed. I am having a nightcap by the pool, because four-year-olds are exhausting.

The problem of telling them apart has been solved. Because, after less than twelve hours in my care, one of them has a black eye. Courtesy of running into a giant urn on the patio while being chased by her sister. My sister won't be happy.

I promised her pretty soon it would be a cool rainbow of colors, and now her sister wants one too.
