The Couch 145 : I Stubbed My Toe On the Sofa.... COUCH!

Grandson will be gone tomorrow for 2 weeks...he is going to see his grandfather in SC for two weeks. I joked about his flight probably leaving at 5am or something and landlady said he's driving this year. I went alone? Yep. She doesn't like it, but assumes he is trying to prove a point, so whatever.

ETA: He will be a high school senior next year.

They've begun reconstruction on the building next door. I knew this day would come... the contractors have been shouting at each other all day, and logically of course they have to shout, how else can they safely hear each other?

But ooohhh am I ever terrified of shouting. I think I always will be. My dad worked from home and was furious all day every day, and there was nowhere in my house where I was safe from it, so every day after school I'd go hide in the woods til dark. Earplugs for the time being.

Ugh. I am at the podiatrist waiting (bc he is always late). Usually I don't really care but this time I am freaking HUNGRY.

I forgot my dinner lol omg f me.

Oh I live close I can go home and eat it!!! But I'll have to scarf it down

How long do you get for dinner JD? 30 minutes or an hour?

My meal break at school job and CVS are only 30 minutes. I barely have time to heat food and eat.

ETA: And the microwaves at both places are always dirty and scary looking to use.

Soon I am going to be HANGRY. It's a thin line for me.
Also my appt was at 2...it's 2:55...

Work 6-10 tonight. Bad block of time. Too early for eat dinner before I leave...too late to make something after I come home. I guess it will be another fast food night. Or maybe I can stop by Walmart and get a TV dinner to heat up and eat.

My dad had a terrible temper. All the shouting- he didn't shout very long because punishments soon followed. Then my parents fought. Then, my grandparents fought. Then my grandparents would argue with my parents. It was hell.
I'm pretty sure it's why I hate confrontation to this day.

Just got a call from my financial aid adviser...the additional loan money was received by the school and the "refund" dispersement to me process has been initiated and should be complete in the next 7-10 days. Yay. New computer time. Time to retire this one.

I need to shower tonight. I have not in a while. Probably over a week. Heh. Is it bad that I can't exactly remember when the last time I showered was?

No time now before CVS, be kind of late tonight after CVS...so maybe that will be a task for tomorrow morning (I work CVS 3-8 tomorrow). Silly squirrel.

guess im not going to be around here anymore either . my T has told me she is retiring and im just hated everywhere. i wish i was dead .maybe now i can do it ive no reason not to .im in so much misery i dont know how to deal .

Just got coached at work because my Net Promotor Score is too low. Apparently I am not compassionate enough w our members. Funny, when I used to be, my calls were too long so I stopped that and shortened my calls. I'm like you can't have it both ways!! Oh well I'll play the game and be gushingly compassionate again until they tell me my calls are too long and to go back to just the facts... It is a game to them, management I mean. A game called drive our employees to drink. Ha!

.....and I will be having wine for dinner because in 1 more hour my staycation starts!!!

At CVS early. Sitting in car till closer to time to clock in. I only work half day on sat and half day on sun so maybe I will try cooking those days for the busy week of C and CVS coming up. Lol. I just need to get tupperwares big enough to put meals in. I eat a lot normally.
