I like the shoes

(And the dogs, obviously. How old are they?)

I'm in a really not good place today, and this fur ball has been attached to me since I laid down on the couch a couple of hours ago. I'm constantly amazed by how unconditionally he loves me.

Walmart is stupid. Therapy is stupid. Holidays are stupid. I just want to hide in my safe place (my bed) with my favorite thing on this planet (boby)

Are you working on the holiday? Don't you get time and a half for working on the 4th?

I've had to cut the wife off. We'd have more if she had the final say.

I have managed to sleep through the entire day. (Well, up at 10 and out again at noon.) I will regret this tomorrow.

I'm only taking 50 mg. for 5 days. But that could be why I couldn't sleep yet I went swimming, and shopped at two stores, yet I'm not as wiped out as I should be with no sleep! I hope there's no side effects afterwards. My fingers are all still tingly but I think it's helping my neck. I refuse to take more than the 5 pills the dr. gave me, though.

He is fat but I don't think it's a normal fat. His belly is all swollen and he has cysts on his chest. The ex is delaying taking him to the vet. If I could pick him up I would take him myself. He seems to be in pain. He was a rescue dog and we don't even know how old he is. I don't get to see him very often but I announced into the house with a howly bark, so I guess he isn't angry after the past 5 years.

Evening couch.

I am home from CVS and napped. I am up now and trying to do discussion posts for my class. No CVS tomorrow, but I do get to see C from 9 till about 2:30. Yay! C is fun.

I still need to clean too, never managed to do that last night with the place in my mind I was in. I will need to do it tonight. Hopefully fireworks will not go off tonight.

I work CVS on the 4th (holiday). I will get time and a half for working, plus I will get holiday pay for the holiday, since it is a major federal holiday...so it will really be like double time and a half. Lol. Though I would get the holiday pay even if I wasn't working that day.

Want to email pdoc again with things I left out of the previous email, but afraid if I do tell him those things he will Baker Act me. I can't afford to go inpatient right now. Too much to do work-wise (between C and CVS) this week.

I feel so detached from the world. Almost like I am not a part of this world. I am feel numb emotionally and that I do not belong anywhere. I have no motivation to do anything...not even what pdoc calls ADLs (Activities of Daily Living). I don't feel like myself. I feel like I am just a figment of my imagination. It's hard to describe, but it just feels odd. I will try to mention it at my appointment on Wednesday, where I can plead not to hospitalize me if he suggests it. If this were my "vacation" from CVS week coming up, I would consider going along with a temporary inpatient stay...but not this week.

Twins are watching "Frozen," which apparently they do at least once a week.

I slept really well last night. Maybe looking after 4 year olds is the cure for insomnia?

Is this one of those things where the cure is worse than the disease?

My old boss liked to brag that his birthday was a national holiday hi, D!

I am actually getting some chores done - garbage and recycling, washing shower curtains and some blankets, prepped dinner for the next few days (jimmy johns counts, right?). Our new washing machines have a heavy load cycle that runs 50 minutes, and stuff comes out pretty clean!
Thanks for this!
