I think maybe the 'therapy hour' itself is a parallel universe. At least that would explain why t keeps insisting on saying 'this is the real world' when, as I'm leaving a session, I sometimes say "time to go back into the real world...." they're both real, just not the same one. Or something.

Well, in my own defense, I did boil potatos/eggs earlier to make potato salad after they cool. And put a load of laundry from the washer to the drier. Other than that, I am sitting on my keister doing nothing but playing on the computer.

I used to sing that for my nephew as my brother blew off fireworks in my mothers backyard. "Da da DA da Da da DA da da - Boom!" Repeat. Easy peasy.

I am giving one of my dogs xanax until the fireworks stop (finally broke down and just got him a prescription this year) and last night - after giving him one - went about putting on some music to block the noise outside and this was included in the play list and I could not figure out why he came and plastered himself to my leg - then I realized what was playing.
So much for xanax. I have no idea why that woman puts so much faith in the stuff - it helps him a little bit but not nearly as much as I expected.

One of my cats was hiding under my bed last night while the neighbor was doing fireworks. The kitten and the other cat were business as usual, they didn't even notice I don't think.

Hi, couch. I am home. My phone rang 3 times while I was driving home which I was too concerned with concertrating on driving to make it home in one piece to answer. One was another CVS looking for help tonight. One was pharm manager from the store phone saying that said CVS needed help and asking if I could help out. Last one was pharm manager from his cell, saying that he thought maybe I was not answering calls from the store (a lot of the techs at my store do that) and saying the same message as he gave me from the store phone. If it was a CVS near me, I would have considered helping out, but it was one 30 minutes away back up near C's which I would have to fight traffic to get back up that way. As well, I am worn. As much as I need the hours, I am worn. Very little sleep, getting lost going to C's cousin's to pick him up, having to hear things repeated a million times today, and fighting stupid horrible traffic really has me in no place to do much else. Especially concerning my state of mind last night and pdoc's "brushing it off" this morning. Hopefully, I can finish cleaning my room early this evening and get to bed early, so I can be well rested for CVS tomorrow. Today is almost over...then to get through tomorrow and then the first half of the day on Wednesday until I see pdoc at 3:30.

I've got my lorazepam with me but I have to drive about two hours to and from so I don't think I'll be able to take it. Lest I end up in a ditch off I-95 somewhere.
