I'm hanging out on my day off. Feeling okay. Went to the bank and got the rent check made up. Did my daily house chores (trash, dishes,, sanitizing, make coffee.

Have had chick fil-a once. It was good! Mm

Wanting to take the 14y/o grandson to the fireworks celebration on Tues but it looks like it may storm. = /

Our town has a neat little celebration....booths with live band, free games, inflatable bounce houses, face painting, etc. Free is good! You can bring your own umbrella chairs, snacks and drinks. There are food vendors there if not. My kinda outing.

Grandson is old enough where I can plant myself in my chair and cut him loose. I have him checking back in with me every half hour or so. He is high functioning autistic and ADD, so he doesn't usually get this kind of freedom.

I may have mentioned last year- my fav part is sitting with him, waiting for the fireworks to begin and the band is playing...I mischievously invite him to "chair dance" with me. He declines. Lol . I kid him about it bc it kind of mortifies him. Lol. We laugh and kid, tho. Maybe I'll spare him now that he's older. Lol.
