In more "what is wrong with me?" news, I am reading the Emotionally Focused Therapy bible, "Hold Me Tight." It is nowhere near as nauseating (yet) as it could be.

But at least I only paid $2 (Kindle sale a few months back).

TDM is EFT certified. I swear that woman has a certification in everything and mixes all of them together in a cauldron for a concoction of that days therapy.

Evening couch. I am home and sort of eating. I didn't feel like fast food, so I went home the way that would require me to pass Walmart to get a microwave meal...however, while I am driving that way, I decide I don't want to go into "creepy" Walmart this late. So, I came home and am now munching on dry (raw) Ramen noodles. I don't have the effort to boil water to cook them, so raw it is.

By the way, I learned these statistics when I had my questionable mammogram in January. Something like 85% of mammograms are normal, of the 15% remainder where testing is repeated, 10% or 2/3 gave abnormal results because of operator error or are something like a cyst, and of the rest, the majority of lumps found are benign.
Yeah, I definitely fall into that statistic. I got an ultrasound done bc I felt a lump, and the tech was like "We should mammogram this, but don't be too worried!" lol. Anyway, the actual mammogram was highly uneventful, maybe bc of my small breasts? Either way it wasn't painful at all, as I feared.

ANYWAY, I eventually saw the breast doc (Dr. Dinghle. hahaha), and she said that it was a cyst, and the ultrasound doctor who ordered the mammogram was probably a bit too conservative in my case.

I was supposed to see her in a year for a follow-up...but eh. Didn't. I was 31?

Quiet night on the couch. Is everyone on vacation. Lol. I am trying to get tired.

Oh crap...it just hit me... I still have to take my evening meds. Working till 10 tonight caught me off-guard with it. I better go take them as it is 11:30pm here.

So the last hour and a half I was the only cashier open other than self checkout. My line was into the clothing section. Everyone was being nice until a man told me I need more help and to call for backup. I said I can't do that sir. He *****ed some more and I said I'm sorry I'm doing the best I can. He said it's not your fault it's Walmarts. Yes it is but couldn't he have understood that before he took it out on me?

Today I had a few moments where I felt like giving up.. Crying.. And walking away. I'm chalking it up to little sleep. I did eat today during the day and I have to say I did not notice the strange feelings I've been feeling lately

Oh and a man started freaking out by the doors. I heard yelling. Everyone stopped and stared. I couldn't see what was happening

Also a coworker I have not met yet came up behind me and wrapped her arm around my waist and was helping me do something. I immediately grabbed her hand and moved it. It was awkward and I felt weird about it but she alarmed me

i grilled burgers for my h earlier, didn't want those, so i just made some pasta with alfredo sauce to have with a glass of wine to start my staycation. son is home, he went to phoenix yesterday for a concert last night and they spent the night at a hotel, he came home today in time to go to school and just got home a little bit ago. he asked me why his room was "mysteriously clean" and i told him he owed me $30 for the service. I took out a HUGE bag of trash that came mostly from under his bed - plastic water bottles, gatorade bottles, fast food containers, empty cheetos bags, candy wrappers, you name it. There were probably 6 pairs of socks mixed in all the trash. I told him that and he goes oh good! I thought I was going to have to buy more. I told him I know it's your room, but it's in OUR house, and we don't want bugs... so now that it's clean, maintain it!!

This is Emmy's litter mate, Tooshi. Tooshi and Emmy were raised together (my babies!). Tooshi now lives with my brother- living the good life in Florida.

Ahh, they're so sweet! I'm thinking of getting a dog myself, maybe a dog would help me to feel less alone. I'm just scared that I couldn't take care of it the way it deserves

Some days just knowing that the dog needs looking after is reason enough to get me out of bed

Also pondering getting a dog. I'd love a cat, but H is allergic. We've had guinea pigs before, but not sure about those would do with D. And I work from home (for now at least), so I could take dog out for walks. And it would give me more reasons to get exercise. Plus a friend for D. Hm... Might have to revisit the dog thing with H. I really miss having a pet.

I'm really glad H and I have our cats. My cat especially shows me unconditional love, which is nice.

Speaking of cats, H sent me this picture of Crescent last night. I don't understand how that's supposed to be comfortable.

Same problem here... I'm terribly allergic to cats (allergy makes me unable to breathe).
Hm. I do have my budgies, and even though I love them, they pretty much ignore me. Isn't the same as a cat or a dog

When storms roll through, we definitely have a two-dog night in our bed. Our scottie, particularly, gets nervous in bad weather.

As far as cats go, I can't have them either. Horribly allergy reaction (asthma) that lands me in the ER within minutes when I am exposed to cats. In fact, I just recently recovered from a month-long asthmatic reaction simply to being exposed to an air mattress that was in my son's apartment and they have cats. We had borrowed it for when we had company. I set it up and by the next day I was wheezing and couldn't figure out why. It just didn't cross my mind right away. It took three different inhalers and three rounds of oral steroids to get through that one.

I like cats, but my lungs don't. The lungs win. Breathing is definitely underrated.

Oh for god's sake. Friday is trash day, and the pickup is behind my house. I can't flush my cat's litter, so I have a lot of trash. Every friday morning I hear some combination of moaning/cursing through my bedroom window.
I do completely recognize that being a sanitation worker is probably not a pleasant job. However, my trash is double-bagged and not leaking out everywhere. So, in three words: DEAL WITH IT.

Morning couch.

Morning meds taken. Teenager gone. He decided to leave at midnight last night and drove all night so his grandma wouldn't try to change his mind. He is now in SC for 2 weeks. Yay! No more additional people in the house.

Landlady said this morning when I went out to get a soda that the bug man is coming sometime next week, but she doesn't remember what day, so my room needs to be clean. Heh. Guess I will be working on that when I am not at CVS this weekend. I only work 4 hours both sat and sun, so I will have a little more time than usual.

Looks like I missed all the cute dog and cat pics after I went to bed last night. Makes me want a pet of my own...but I am afraid I would not give it proper care...plus I an renting a room. Guess I will just have to settle for resident dog.
Thanks for this!

And the Walmart near me has a bunch of homeless people camped out beside the doors that time of night panhandling. I feel bad they are homeless and sometimes people can't help it (not a choice), but I don't want to be bumbarded going into a store.
