The Couch 145 : I Stubbed My Toe On the Sofa.... COUCH!

Just got one of those facebook emails with suggested friends. Several say like 33 mutual friends, so I view the mutual friends...a ton of people I went to high school with and... mt BROTHER. Why in the world is my brother friends with people I went to high school with? They are 4 years younger than him. Then again...he was hanging around a 21 year old when he got arrested this last time. That's like 17 years apart.

And also another "why"... Why on Earth is facebook suggesting pdoc as a friend.... ummmm... NO! That would just be weird... we only know each other professionally and in a relationship that really would not constitute "friend".

I've had Facebook recommend I become friends with my t. Twitter also suggested I follow my former t. I think it goes by who you have e-mailed.

A while back...I got an email from LinkedIn saying that pdoc requested to "connect". Heh! Since that is really not exposing him to my "personal" interests like Facebook...I accepted. But no way would I accept a request on FB (if he sent one).

My t used to offer water and I would always always say no and then one time just in the past 6 months or so I finally said "Yes that would be lovely" and she was surprised lol and she poured me a glass and now she has a pitcher of water with glasses on the table every time I go. I think on Wednesday I will suggest wine and cheese for our last few meetings.

Yay I have my residency all fixed with the college so now I can officially register for my fall class(es)! Well, after Tuesday anyway. Tuition will be 50% off as a "Lifetime Learner" once I am 55.

Can't beat a "lifetime learner" discount. Lol. Maybe I can get one of those if I stay in school till I am a "senior".

Ugh, T cancelling on my twice in one week suuucckkssss, especially since it's been the day of.

At CVS early. Too hot to sit in car. I guess I will go inside and wander the store.

In other news, i just made some espresso with a new bag of ground coffee and a new silicone gasket in my stovetop maker - omg so yum.

Jeepers you know it's summer in Arizona when your electric bill exceeds $200 for one month! Eek! No more VTO for me for awhile....

I am supposed to be cleaning my house today but have I started yet? of course not. And it's already noon. Time to get my butt in gear.

Survived the mammogram. I said told the technician that it felt like really awkward yoga. Because it was like, "OK, lean this way, no, turn a little--OK, good. now put your arm up here, keep your chin tilted upward, now take a breath and hold it." Hurt a little, but not too bad. Results should be in a week, and she said not to be surprised if I get called to come back since this was my first one (since they have no baseline to compare it to).

That plane accident is going to cause so many problems for LA people. The 405 is normally a parking lot. Hope anyone who lives out that way is safe!
