Speaking of MC, LT, Informatino has a dead ringer for your phallic elephant in her office.

I kept staring at it. She asked if I wanted to hold it. Um, no...

Although....I've been somewhat paranoid lately, so don't mind me.
Maybe not so paranoid -- just tried doing it via PayPal and when I put in her email ID, I got the message that this person cannot receive money (could be for other reasons, I know).

The plot thickens!

How did that go? Was she in her proper wood nymph attire?

No, but I could envision her in it!

It went well. Or as well as my average therapy session goes. She's not irritating me (yet).

Potential new T (not Paypal-enemy) suddenly burst out in enthusiasm about how she'd love to work with me (after earlier hemming and hawing over email) when I told her I've blown through two therapists with my anger issues.

I suppose that's my new therapist calling card.

I know it's emotional numbing but don't know if emotional numbing is a form of dissociation.

It can be automatic and random (so I do get long periods of strong emotion...hate the random part) for me. I used to be able to will it (due to many years of practicing it) but lost the ability after some therapy. Now I just get emotions emotions emotions...then I step into T's office and pop they're gone. I can be crying heavily in T and then pop...nothing, only numbness.
I was flabbergasted last week when I asked my boss how her sister's memorial service went. Clearly it wasn't going to be a happy talk, but she went on about how she was sobbing the night before....and i was that kid that puts their fingers in their ears and goes LA LA LA LA. Not literally, but internally I was like "Stop telling me your feelings!"

Awkward.

Though I am the opposite where all week I can distract and avoid all thoughts and feelings, and then the one hour a week I see my T, it is overwhelming and I am just super ragey. That is a technical term by the way.

Seven weeks of no M after tomorrow

He is my earth

I know for certain I don't want it to be this way forever, and it can't be of course. But right now he is my earth and I've never had anything even remotely like a foundation before.

Anyone speak yogi? What exactly does it mean when someone says "you have a beautiful practice"? Clearly it's good but what does it mean?

How you do and what you do. Good ie meaningful and thoughtful, emotionally and physically and artistically, selection of stances. And it flows. And you do it well.

My claim to fame was in 10th or 11th gym where we did a kind of idk what it was called, somersaults and stuff, where we designed our own dance and had to cover the floor. I only got marked down cuz i was chewing gum. I had pretty bad teeth and bad oral hygiene. But i could choreograph.

It's nice to know I've pulled the wool over yet another person's eyes (the yogi).

I would have given you an A++ for being able to dance and chew gum at the same time.

The puzzle may be screwed up, but you have to be in it or else the puzzle is incomplete.

I suspected projection was going on. Maybe I was right.

Quote:
A survey of 2,000 U.S. physicians released in September found that roughly half believed they had met criteria for a mental health disorder in the past but had not sought treatment. The doctors listed a number of reasons they had shunned care, including worries that they’d be stigmatized and an inability to find the time.
That's really too bad about the stigma. I don't think depression should even be classified as mental illness anymore. Sadness is different than depression. Maybe general anxiety too. For example, people going to work everyday or stay at home moms being good mothers to their children who have these issues are not 'mentally ill'. That label should be reserved for those unable to discern reality/severe cognitive impairment.

My rantings.

I am not so good today. but i am here. My display doesn't exactly flicker but it goes black then on then black then on then black and the laptop is totally unresponsive. I have checked all the timeout settings and refresh rate but nothing helps. It has crashed 3 times today. It is over 10 years old though
