I've only had to use tissues for my snot (when I had a cold).

I'd taken along my own set of tissues (and for good measure, a handkerchief but didn't use the handkerchief coz in the past, people have given me weird don't-spread-germs-with-that-thing looks when I've pulled it out) coz I didn't want to use her tissues coz well, snot etc.

She found it strange that I'd take along my own tissues when she has three tissue boxes.

I still used my own tissues.

I seriously doubt I'd use her tissues even if I were to cry (I'm not sure when that'll happen, if ever) -- it's just too.....ugh.......icky or something. I've considered using my t-shirt at times that I've feared I was tearing up a trifle much but thankfully, the situation has never gotten serious enough to warrant such action.

I accidentally threw a box of tissues at T on Saturday. I was spinning it by the corners and it slipped out of my hands.

I'm always having hot flashes and allergy attacks in my sessions, and use t's tissues if I don't already have one in my hand when i walk in. Once when I went to get a tissue, it was an empty box, and he had to get another box. He also has gotten me water when i didn't have my own with me, offers to turn on the fan, or open a window, etc. His space is soooo safe. I wish i could stay on that couch sometimes forever.

Before your time here, but during our last rupturous session I accidentally threw DBC's 45-year-old childhood stuffed frog at her.

What a weird thing to keep in one's office.

Stuffed frog? Not weird.

Childhood toy? Kind of weird.

Moo.
Yes, every year. I am screwed until about March. I hate it.

That would make me feel like a cow as well, btw.

Surgery dates set... first one Oct 17th, second one Dec 1st. Maybe I should say 3rd and 4th since I have had 2 since last Aug. These should be the last ones for a while.

If my memory serves me right, Runcible coined something similar (or maybe she actually coined rupturous)?

Not only do I use many of my T's tissues but I complain if she (or her office mate) buys the wrong kind.

I foresee at least one "Hey girl" joke.

I don't watch the show, but I might if it gives me something to twit you about.

I am watching a very funny depiction of an incompetent school therapist trying to use cbt on a middle school student who is fine with himself but the school interfered and thought he needed to make friends - even though the kid was fine.
It would be funnier except I have seen it be true. Those guys can be idiots.

Okay, I was reading an article about psychotherapy contraindications...
And they say that if you're having suicidal thoughts and/or delusions... therapy is not for you.
Wtf.
Now I think T is going to abandon me

That article is rubbish, Capt. That's like saying dental work is only for people without cavities.

Hang in there.
