Blablabla probably nothing, there was no blood in your urine 2 months ago so what you have now is probably normal blablabla.

As if I couldn't tell the difference.

Yeah. No need for stupid f.. doctors. Or urgent care.

Did you actually end up going to urgent care and this is what they told you? Or are you just guessing because of what happened with the abdominal pain? If you haven't gone yet, definitely mention the abdominal pain, too, if that's still an issue.
Thanks for this!

Did go and that's what they told me.

Yes, that's ridiculous! That would just suggest something acute, rather than chronic.

I am sorry urgent care blew you off. Did they at least check the urine sample?

Yes... There's blood in it but no infection so apparently not their problem... They told me to see my gyn if I don't believe them.

They can if they install a program that lets them know there's a tracker on an email. For one of the programs that expose trackers, it shows an eye by the email. I doubt that many people have those, but it is a thing and it is possible.

What Urgent Care is saying doesn’t even make sense. If there was no blood in your urine 2 months ago ...and now there is...something has changed.

Sigh. I am at my pain drs waiting to get another injection for my back (they never work...not sure why I bother). This office is a mess. No one knows what the hell is going on. SUPER reassuring.

Ha ha ha...nerve pain shot down my leg twice during the procedure & I almost kicked my pain dr. in the head.

I apologized of course, but I think its hilarious b/c of the meds they gave me ahead of time, so I am kinda stoned.

Demunie- kick up a fuss and demand to be seen by someone else-it's not something that's supposed to be missed out. Two months is a long time for change to occur. Some doctors can be real idiots and have as much empathy as a tapeworm.

So normally I don't post from work, but I kind of just want to vomit out everything that's going on so that I can move on.

A couple of weeks ago H and I discovered that our cats had fleas. We're not exactly sure how they got them as they're indoor cats, but we hypothesize that our female cat got them when she ran out into the hall one day of our apartment complex, which is a common area. Other units in our building have both cats and dogs.

Anyway, we've been treating both cats at home since we discovered that they had fleas. Our female cat had been incredibly lethargic for about the last week or so. H has been looking for a vet that could see her for a couple of days. I noticed this morning that she was wheezing very heavily.

I called H during my lunch break to ask him how she was doing or if he had a chance to take her to an emergency vet (which is what we decided on). She died before he was able to get her in to see anyone.

I feel like a really f****** lousy cat mommy right now. She'd been sick for a while and we should have done something sooner. I've had to teach a class since I found out and it didn't go very well. I'm glad today that my planning period is at the end of the day. I'm just trying to grieve.

What isn't helpful is that I have an IEP meeting after school.
Possible trigger:

Sigh. I hope the rest of the couch is doing well. I don't have the energy to read what I've missed. Hugs for everyone who wants or needs them.

Hugs, thx for sharing. I don't want to make a fuss - they already have dissociative disorder and SH in my patient history, I can't have them put bpd or other fun stuff in there too. It would make future visits even harder.

I called the gyn - the receptionist was startled by my request, said that blood in urine isn't really their speciality, that they would call me back.
Called with an urologist appointment for tomorrow 10min later. So that's good, I guess

It took me a long time to learn this, but being with someone and talking about things DOES help even if it doesn't lead to any material change.
