my t homework was to write a story from the sand tray i did friday. i started it last night, maybe i should stay home tomorrow and finish it...

We have a couple hot yoga studios here, and they're spendy. I was looking for a yoga class and there are all kinds of expensive specialties.

Another option might be looking for a class that meets at a community center or dance studio or a facility that doesn't specialize in yoga. I asked around and found a $5 drop-in yoga class with a great experienced teacher that meets during the down time at a martial arts gym. I do videos at home, but meeting in a class once a week seems to help me figure out how the heck to do some of the pretzel-y stuff. Sometimes, anyway. When you forget you were boiling eggs and go out to the kitchen to see why the light is on and the water has almost boiled dry around the eggs....

My workplace offered 10 yoga sessions for $10. An absolute steal because they're really expensive in community centers or gyms. I really wanted to take it up but then I work late everyday in IT and wouldn't be able to fit the class schedules.

morning couchies, I slept sooooo good last night, probably something psychological like the placebo effect, just knowing I'd started the antibiotics - but my ear wasn't bothering me near as much last night so I didn't have to keep getting up to reheat my rice sock. Throat still hurts and glands in my neck are still all swollen but my ear feels better so I slept really well. And I won't even have to cancel t tomorrow evening because I will have been on the antibiotics 47 hours by the time I see her. Dr said generally after 24 hours on antibiotics you're no longer contagious. Haven't decided yet if I'm staying home today or not. I sit off by myself right now until they figure out where to move me for my new job, I don't interact with anyone because my other 4 local teammates all work from home, and our sup is in California. So I'll probably go and just keep to myself. I mean I was there the past 2 days just as contagious as now. I dunno. I'm waffling. Have 30 minutes to decide before I'd have to leave.
