Just learned that one of my teammates at work (in another state though, never actually met her except in IM) passed away on Friday. She was a year younger than me. Don't know details yet. It's so sad.

I hate when that happens. I have a lot of departed coworkers that come to mind from time to time. And those are just the ones i know about, right?

Home from surgery- everything went very well. They gave me bunches of meds and I still stayed awake. Didn’t feel much pain.

Glad it’s over. Shouldn’t need this particular surgery again for more than ten years...yay!

Oops. Just let out some frustration that I'm not sure where it came from. I was trying to cut off a really low branch on the christmas tree, and after two tries and not being able to get the clipper around it cuz I couldn't see it too well, I totally screamed obscenities at it.

Yeah, don't need 6 years of therapy to know it wasn't the tree I was frustrated at. Now that I've calmed down I'm trying to work out what I'm actually frustrated about....

Sometimes the effing trees just need a good scolding and a spanking or two to show them who's boss.

Yoga instructors talk entirely too much.

I had to put the one tonight on mute.

Like the therapists?

I bet Info likes being spanked.

Yeah, Info's way too easy -- she'll probably be eager and willing.

Your potential new one though....ahh, now we're talking.

And, please let's not discuss current T being entirely unsuitable for the purposes under discussion.

I bet former bodybuilding champions don’t let anyone spank them. They do the spanking.

Current t? Wasn’t even thinking about saying anything...

The woman was sort of like Nurse Diesel in High Anxiety.

Latest current T-isms include how she thinks I'll "develop" (didn't realize how much I hated that word) to be......I dunno....something not-as-effed-up-as-suggested-by-my-current-state.

Which would've been patronizing but still bearable except she had to then go ahead and compare it to how her children have no idea what they'll grow up to be but she thinks they'll be I dunno.......pretty fantastic or something.

Then when I basically had a WTF look on my face, she asked as to why I was checking out and "dissociating".

Just....

If I wasn't tired as eff-all, I'd have probably summoned up some more energy and concomitant rage but as it is......

You mean “pretty fantastic,” like Blondie herself?

Every time I think she’s run out of ways to show off her general obtusity and insensitiveness...

And, her kids will never desert her, because they’re...a quarter Italian.

Are you sure you wouldn’t be better off with a giant stuffed teddy bear?

I totally owe you for this -- this just made my day!

Oohh.....I could totally have my own blond giant stuffed teddy bear for less than what I pay Blondie in a week.

Sigh.

I had to reschedule my appointment because of the work, so now I have to wait 10 more days instead of 3 days, and it will be 3 weeks without T. I'm in a very bad place right now and feel like crying. I really need him, but I have to wait.
Sorry for venting
ETA: I called them and asked for another rescheduling. Now I have to wait 7 days, not 10. Still a lot...

Urgs! Doesn’t he have earlier appointments open? That just sucks. I’m sorry

Here if you need to talk

It's the dominant ones who most need to be submissive in the bedroom.
