My cat has brought live lizards in before they're easier to catch than jumping frogs at least! And he gets put on house arrest too lol. I also ground him when he infrequently goes over the wall into neighbors yard.

omg. i went to the screening this afternoon for this place in town where you stay from anywhere 5-15 days, and i was sort of expecting them to be like "well you decide," or "i don't think this is a good candidate for you," and instead got "We would like you to come in within hte next 3 days." OMG.

Then i had to go tell my boss i am going to a place to better my mental health bc i haven't been well, and while it went fine...it was terrible on my end. no one at work knows about anything personal with me.

so now i am working tues/wed and possibly going in thurs. i need to call them back.

OMG.

What the EFF am I thinking!

My baby kitties!

I can't do this

Hugs, Velcro...you can do it! I'm glad work seemed fine with it. Will you see your T at all before then? And do you decide on a set amount of time to start, or is it figured out once you're there?
Thanks for this!

Velcro, I can definitely understand why the accelerated timeline came as a bit of a shock. You can definitely do this, though. Rooting for you.
Thanks for this!

Eta - 5pm, i just got back from my NOON internist appt. I picked up brunner and my prescriptions, and im resting a bit til i return the car. It was fun getting out tho. My knee is feeling a LOT better, i can actually walk without my stick, and his other patients are SO sweet. Maybe its just because we are HIS patients - he is the greatest, sweetest guy.

I just love it (not) when I'm in the bathroom at work and somebody's in another stall having a heated argument with someone on their cell phone partly in English and partly in Spanish. They switch between languages so fast.

My favorite american home videos was on yesterday. The mom (who has an accent) was driving, and her son asks her, "what does Y E S spell?" She says, "yes." He goes, "and what does E _ Y E S spell?" She goes, "ee-yes?"

First of all, i wanna smack that kid for distracting his mom while shes driving. And then for making fun of her.
Thanks for this!

It may have been more that she mixed it with the spaghetti and it got all absorbed and just sort of a gross blob.

I do like some Ragu varieties!
Thanks for this!

One advantage of hearing aids is they block earwigs.

Hey, I bet that’s how Claudius killed Hamlet’s father!

I made sous vide creme brulee in little custard cups.
The custard part is extremely light and smooth.

The job site where I look for nanny jobs now wants membership fees to apply for jobs! They already charge for background checks! Now they want membership fees to! We are poor! That’s why we are looking for more work! What the heck..but the rich people looking for nannies who place want ads get to do it for free!?!?

Ugh, that seems really backwards. Maybe see if there's another site where you can look for work?

There is one other site that caters to more casual babysitting, but its not very popular. I had more success with this one. I’m just annoyed because they’ve now may it a pay site for nannies! It’s 60 dollars for a background check and 20 dollars a month to join. This is new. It wasn’t like that before. Good god. Would I be looking for better work if I had 80 bucks plus tax to just be able to apply to families!

And I still need to buy 2 outfits to interview in. One for nanny interviews. (Casual but nice) and one for corporate jobs. (A suit I guess)
