I must say, i think i understand your metaphors less than SD understands me. I just use math to invert them but i have no idea what i say or what i mean. truth in advertising!

I consider it my public service to help you understand how SD feels not understanding your understanding of understandings.

It’s like the Italian zz (like pizza), then ignore the second T: zza-see-key.

Now let’s discuss how to pronounce “gyro.”

Close—a little more like yee-ro.

By the way in actual Greek it’s gyros, and it’s singular (gyro is the direct object).

My gyros tastes funny.
I stole una’s gyro.

I'm not sure I agree with this. A planned end might bring out different stuff than pretending it's going to last forever.

Frank Lloyd Wright’s organic architecture was very much planned. They are not incompatible. What I was objecting to is the arbitrary deadline.

Ah. I see. Well, it's not really arbitrary I don't think, t was the one that asked me to commit to 3 more months. I should ask her how she came up with the 3 month timeline.

What were the wire hangers doing in the house in the first place? (I never saw the movie.)

I very much doubt that is a hard and fast deadline to her. I rather suspect it was to reassure you instead and also for her to be able to plan ahead with business stuff.
Thanks for this!

Yabbut youve been with your h for x years and he can still play the im leaving card? My parents were like this - my dad said he felt it was exciting to be insecure about whether or not my mother loved him. I just thought it was stupid that our parents treated us kids like strangers they couldnt trust half the time.

So thats what it seems like to me - that its about feeling that sense of security. Slapping an end date on it IMPLIES you have a sense of security - like yeah i can quit this anytime!

You say "cuz it cant be forever". Thats negative. What IS it, then? What is a positive you can REST in, BE in.

You have the cart, you have the horse. It feels to me like you are just tying up loose ends.

Plus i am so thrilled you went to the CODA meeting!! And glad it was a little fun.
Thanks for this!

I made gnocchi for the first time last week. I found a recipe that uses ricotta instead of potato. Seems like gnocchi was mentioned on the couch and I thought, "Hey, I should try that," and googled "easy gnocchi."

It was phenomenal and super easy because I didn't even have to cook potatoes.

Yes, but my cart is admittedly kinda rickety.

Try saying it after a couple beers.

As a matter of fact, that might be the only reason I can think of for tzatziki beer. Entertainment value.
