If reddit allowed user "signatures" like forums, mine would be "Personality disorders are NOT untreatable!" with links to research.

She said she’s glad I got a chance to take care of her.......
I tried sparking water for the first time in my life recently and...i prefer plain regular water...

Blondie would find me boring haha.

Some of our laws havent changed since 1920s, one them being record keeping where all records must kept in triplicate hard copy one of them must be hand written.

Cat has turned up, phew. we think there must be a gap behind the boiler that leads under the house or into the vents because she turned up this morning in the boiler cupboard where she most definitely wasn't last night.

Thanks, Couch, for letting me dump my dream here. It helped a bit, lightened the load enough to get on with the day.

And thank goodness, because life with boys is just ridiculous and chaotic and funny.

One son decided it would be a good day to set up the drum set. Oh boy. Mom me (thank goodness he’s doing something besides playing video games until his brains leak out his ears) and Grinchy me (Oh, the noise, noise, noise, NOISE!) tussled briefly. Mom me won, as usual.

Then I drove middle son two hours to his summer program, and when we got there he discovered he’d forgotten his wallet with his lunch and spending money. He asked if I could drive home and get it. Poor sweet. I promised I’d overnight it and we got him checked in to his room and I left him there. Any guesses how many times I’ve reminded myself this evening that he’s a capable responsible person and he will be just fine?

Then I went to the giant bookstore and bought too many books, which makes any day a win.

Hugs to all the couch folks who need them, and come home vibes for Echos-kitty.

So, I am going to observe an IOP group this morning and I am all kinds of nervous. It’s for my group process class I am taking. I am afraid I am going to throw everybody who is in the group off, or what if they ask me to engage, how much what/should I share? If anything at all. Also, what do I wear???

I think the Couch store should sell tshirts with Blondie’s face on them that say “Friends don’t let friends go to this therapist.”

Or could be any therapist’s face. Customizable!

ETA: also I am pretty sure you can’t outrun me.

That is a brilliant business idea

Oh, I know I couldn’t outrun you but maybe I can distract you with weirdly flavored Oreos / Twizzlers / Kit Kats / insert-your-favorite-carcinogenic-snack thrown ever so often?

Speaking of running, Blondie recently held forth on her running — apparently she runs a lot of relays which seem to have their own distinctive “van subculture” and which tests one’s ability to deal with skank (her words) and in which people decorate their vans to.....run? We should start a Twitter feed with #ThingsILearnInTherapy

Cause that worked out so well for Hippomenes and Atalanta.

Deal with skank? Doesn’t she deal with herself every day?

I am outfitting a cargo van to become a camper. It is sort of fun.
There are all sorts of van subculture communities.

We just rented a converted camper and went camping with our friends who own one. I loved it and want to buy one. Converting one would be even better but I'm not the person to do a conversion! Sounds like a fun project SD.

I have a summer cold. How come summer colds feel 10 times worse than colds any other time of year? Probably because of the humidity-there is not actually breathable air outside.
Also these tiny humans I take care of are driving me bonkers today. I just put them down for a nap. Here’s to hoping they sleep at least 2 hours.
