I have only ever had it in Switzerland, so I’m probably riding for a fall if I make it.

I've just realized I have about a month to renew my restraining order which requires me to fill out forms (and revisit my reasons for said order, which is not necessarily healthy for me mentally) and spend almost an entire day on the process. I don't understand why the aggrieved party has to put forth so much effort. On the one hand, I can see that the effort required might keep people from filing nuisance claims that aren't really justified, but it also hinders people who have legitimate complaints. What if you can't afford to take an entire day off of work to complete this process? I can, but I feel the injustice for the women (or men) that can't.

Not since I slipped on the fondue and knocked my lava lamp onto the macrame cover of my waterbed. Also, Nixon was president.

My cat got into a tin of cookies last night. In the last week he has stolen kabobs, licked butter and sour cream, and put his face in a bowl of powdered sugar.

H and I are up early getting ready to go hiking! The trail he wants to hike of course we have to drive past the road that goes to t's house... which is gonna make me wish I was going there today... sigh. (He doesn't know this, though.)
