For pain, I was supposed to take Ibuprofen 45mins before the procedure. I did I went home and slept and am feeling better.

Monday's are my long days, as I go from work at my paid job to work as a volunteer (unpaid) job and today I'm really not wanting to go to my volunteer job but it's a commitment so I have to go. It just makes for a l-o-n-g day. I'm already going to miss the 15th because of therapy so that's final...I have to go tonight.

Bit of a breakthrough right now. H picked me up at work cuz my car's still in the shop (going to get it now) and I caught myself smack in the middle of a codependent behavior and stopped what I had been saying and said oh that's a codependent thing to say huh and h goes 'very good'. Wow!! If I can recognize this **** I can stop doing it!

Tonight is choir rehearsal for my boys. One of my favorite nights of the week...I usually arrive tired and wishing to stay home, and leave refreshed and smiling.

They’re singing a song about refugee children, which is gorgeous musically and lyrically moving. They just sat down to discuss the dynamics and tone and came up with some thoughtful insightful compassionate comments about what they want to convey with this piece. I’ve been sitting in on rehearsal with lots of these guys since they were pretty little, and I got a little teary at what remarkable young men they are.

I said goodbye to my T today. He told me he loves me. I'm grateful and heartbroken, and I regret nothing.

Do you like working there? How many hours do you offer? If your not feeling it could you offer to come on an alternative day.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day and I'm not looking forward to "family therapy". My oldest has a school based therapist and once a month we all get together and check in. Usually it ends up being just me with all 4 kids because H either doesn't want to go or can't get off work an hour early. 5-6 people jammed into a small closet like room gets aggravating for me. But I'll go and deal with it and we're also signing up my 2nd oldest for therapy so I'm hoping it'll help him too.

I think you're doing a great job supporting your kids. Is it possible you could you push the time back further so H can come too?

No, because the therapist is only therw on Tuesdays and Wednesday and H has therapy on Tuesday evenings ans I have therapy Wednesday evenings. I tried to push it earlier last month and he decided he wanted to stay home with our younger 2 while I went with the older 2.

And thank you...I feel like I'm screwing them up most days but I try to be involved as much as I can.

Aw, thanks Lemon. You're a sweetie.

They kept it real, though. Some of the boys carpool with us, so I had a carful on the way home, shouting and laughing, belching, and someone really reeeeaaaally needed to wash his feet.

They're good eggs.

Today i bought new cat toys, one is maze and you have to get the tinkly ball put of the maze. My D's cat worked it out in 15 secs my two cats are still staring at in wonderment and occasionally poking it. My cats like wind up mouse better.

I usually go for a morning power walk, too, but don’t want to leave bed after two humdinger nightmares last night.

Can I live vicariously through you?

There was that moment when the same jogger passed me for the second time. How’s pizza for dinner sound?
