I had a good session with R.

I started off with random stuff mainly about school. I told him that I'd decided to stop fighting him and why I'd been acting out since september. The cousin stuff,my grandmother being ill.

He said it was nice that I was being so direct, after I told him why I didn't want to switch T. And he said he had been stubborn in our last session.

Hightlight Q: "what's it being in love with you therapist".

If anyone wants to pocket ride, bonus T session in 45 minutes...wherein he'll likely be like "Oh God, why did I take on LT as a client?"

+1

Because you're brave, strong and kind.

You haven't done anything wrong. You called him, you didn't set his house on fire.

Aw, thanks, Lemon. Not even just the call, how I've been as a client over the past 13.5 months

In that case a very good one! No small court cases filled for non payment. You turned up on time and gave it your best.

LT, I don't think you are a bad client either. My t was telling me one time that in some of her previous jobs working with teenagers or court ordered therapy sessions the clients refused to talk and she just sat there and stared at them most of the sessions. She was saying with this current job it's better because everyone sees her willingly. You're a willing client so there's that.
Thanks for this!

Plus, there are currents and surges in the solar wind, and I don't suppose these are adequately mapped.

So I want to take an in-person class on economics at my university next semester and I want a notetaker for the lectures so I don’t miss anything.

So I register with the disability center (founded by No. 1 decades ago, incidentally) and fill out their online request form for accommodations prior to meeting with a counselor. Preferred method of contact? I say email, because the phone is too dicey for me.

So...they call me on the phone.

So...I think session went well? T took it very seriously, saying at the beginning "I think this will be a very important conversation." I discovered a throw pillow in his office that has very comforting fringe, so I stroked that much of the session. (How did I not discover that before?) It basically came down to...T is trying not to be ex-MC. He doesn't want to repeat those mistakes and lead me down that path. He's concerned that saying "I care about you" takes it outside of the therapeutic relationship. He was fine with saying "I care about you as a client," and we spent lots of time talking about what that meant. Because, to me, that meant "I care about you as long as you are paying me." But he said it wasn't about that. More about what therapeutic relationship entails. There was much more to the session that I may write up later in IST, but still processing. For now, I plan to continue working with him.

I know...it's really early. We do a toy drive and food baskets for the holiday at Church and they gave us a deadline of 6 weeks last Sunday so it hits the middle of December...and I was like, what?! We have to have how many toys by when?! Ack! I don't even want to think about it but I have to. Kit.

I am impressed you want to learn economics.
And at our university = the accommodations office is just about that efficient. I think they have bar that says if you are this (high) smart - you can't work here.

I have to get new kitty out of the guest room tonight because my sister will be coming in to town and needs the guest room, but I really don't want to move new kitty to my room because she is still skittish and that's her comfort place right now. Ugh. Not that I don't want to see my sister because I do, but I want new kitty to be comfortable. Argh. Kit.
