i am finally broaching a topic i've avoided for the 3+ years i've been in therapy
(in this go round at least), and what sucks the most is that i have no one to talk to IRL about it. How am I giong to talk about this difficult topic, and deal with it alone in between each session? I am going to use journaling, but this sucks. Though, i don't know why i am worrying about this because it isn't like i talk to anyone IRL about anything of substance anyway.

Couch is so quiet. I miss noisy Couch.

My therapist said I wasn't a troll.

We were talking about how I felt when my husband would flirt/stare/gawk at other women in front of me and how it made me feel like a troll, and he said "when I sit here with you I don't see a troll". What a lovely thing to say to someone who's sobbing and hiding behind her hands because she doesn't want to be seen.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure I'm a troll.

You’re not a troll, NP.

Your husband is a total and complete ogre, though.

ETA: Mr. Murse is being introduced to the phenomenon of baseball called “extra innings.” I’m not sure he’s a fan. He keeps asking “is it over now?” at the end of every half inning. I told him it ain’t over till it’s over.
Thanks for this!

NP you're ex was a twit on a massive scale for everything he put you through. You're not a troll even if you can't believe us now, one day you will. A quote from the author Dahl:

“A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts it will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.

You'll do it the same way you've done it before, just like all the other difficult topics. Take your time and it's okay to take it slower if you need to.

I feel his pain.
But isn't he familiar with cricket? It is equally pointless and interminable.

Having solar installed today. We need it. Our bill last month was $750!!! I just hate having people at the house. All the banging, coming in and out, setting off the dogs, etc. But it will be worth it.

I love Roald Dahl. Some of his (adult) short stories are the GOAT.

The perks of being a mini-me. I get to say "Meeeeeeeeee toooooo."

I lurve made up words, think that's why I love him and Seuss so much- we can't learn everything at boogleboxes. I called R Muggle-Wump once (the monkey from the Twits who saves the day). Gunzleswiped. Crodscollop. Gloriumptious!! Double plus good is from Orwell.

I rarely use facebook and mainly just keep it to be apart of a group where we share study notes, otherwise I would have deleted my page a while back. I checked R's page. Even though I'm not friends with him I can still see photos. His wife has updated her page to a new picture of him and his daughter from the 24th. It's an odd kind of sadness. Yes I'm still jealous of a 4 year old. If it's not her then it switches to being jealous of his wife and I feel like a fruit cake.

Anyway I just wanted to check in.I'm gonna to get back to my new lover: Stomatology.

Oh! Is “extra innings” the new euphemism for “taking him out to buy a SIM card”?

I love this couch! Ryan Gosling, handcuffs, “SIM cards”, and now “extra innings”!

I hate pc's. I keep one around for a couple of things that I can only do with windows, and it usually takes less than 10 min before I want to beat it to death with a hammer.

Geez, Stacks, get your mind out of the gutter!

It’s like you’re turning into one of us.

I think in euphemism order, one has to shop for the SIM card and then have extra innings?

In any event, the extra innings were exhausting, I’m just dragging myself out of bed.
